So, the story is told in 2 different times: now (told in double POV) and past (told through Kennedy's notebook story).

I am enjoying the past story more, because I wanna see how Kennedy and jonathan fell in love... it's clear already that something didnt work out between them, since they're not together now... I wonder if Jonhy left her to pursue his acting dream and fame got in the way... or maybe it was drugs adittion that got them apart?!

I wonder if Jonhy even knew about Maddie when she was born?! My guess is He did not know.

Another thing that is clear already, is that Jonathan's relationship with is father is not good! ... Is his father physically abusive towards him?! He did Hit him hard in the middle of the chest, out of nowhere... (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 1: my first book from this author. I liked the introduction of the characters. Maddie seems adorable. I wonder what she knows about her father or if she asks.

Chapters 2-4: (view spoiler)[I personally think she's being kind of stubborn by not accepting the child support. I get wanting to be self sufficient, but don't tear up the checks. At least put them aside for your childs school or something. Geez (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 4-12: (view spoiler)[ I'm really enjoying the story so far. Love that they told maddie the truth and didn't drag it out forever. She's such a cute kid and I love seeing Jonathan with her. There's obviously still so much between him and Kennedy and I know it's hard for her but she should really have a talk with him. A real talk where they get everything out. And hopefully he doesn't fuck it up because I have a feeling Serena is going to be a problem. (hide spoiler)]

I'm glad they told Maddie that Jonathan's her dad! :)

I'm glad she gets to spend time with him and they are so cute playing together... I totally Loled when she made him play barbie :D

And I really liked the flashback to the time jonathan was caught naked in the park near the Inn... it was hilarious.

I know Jonhy will stay in town as long as it takes for him to heal his wrist. I just hope He continues comming to see Maddie after it. She is a sweet, smart, cutie girl and I do not wanna see her get sad and hurt. (hide spoiler)]

So, that family date was so sweet... I laughted when Maddie made Jonathan go outside, to knock and wouldn't let him in until He got flowers... they make such a beautiful and sweet family! So I really am rooting for Jonathan not to screw this up.

Serena, I don't like her. I don't think she even likes Jonhy at all, I think she just uses him, just so she doesnt feel alone... but I do hope she eventually does get help and stays clean.

And I was shocked to find out that Jonathan once had to steel money from people! We can feel his dispair in this fase. Good to know things got financially better for him. (hide spoiler)]

In the past sequences Jonathan always called him by his last name, but then in the present time Kennedy always calls him Drew/Andrew, it's like the author deliberately hide it to surprise us later. I'm a fan of Liverpool Football Club and every time the season ends, the football player er...it's soccer in the US, have lap of honor and bring their family with them. I just love it, I love how they bring their wives and kids with them to the field after they play and do the lap of honor for the fans.

Anyway in Jonathan case, I think it's doable, it's just he listen to Cliff too much. So he doesn't dare to go public and tell them that he actually has a daughter from his previous relationship and is still in love with Kennedy. (hide spoiler)]
