Sarah Zachariason It started with the main character and her best friend at some type of party. I think her boyfriend and her had an interaction before he left. Then she went back to her office and witnessed her powerful boyfriend(who is some type of government guy) gang raping a girl. She later finds out that they have been doing this with many girls. She then runs away to her hometown(I think) and stays at a bed and breakfast. She soon runs into a farmer that she use to know. They fall in love quickly. Then the people come after her again, and the farmer saves her. This book has two others in a series. In the second one her best friend finds her way to the town awhile after the main character did. In this one her best friend falls in love with a rich guy who just moved into town. In the third one the two main characters make a friend from the town who owns a clothing shop. The main two girls are then shot by some hired people. The third girl then has a body guard who she ends up falling in love with. That's all I remember...it was a long time ago that I read them, but it always has bothered me that I can't figure out the name. Please help if you can!! Thanks!!!

How long ago was "a long time ago"? That means different things to different people, so is it 6 months, 2 years, 10 years, 50 years?

What format did you read it in--dead tree, electronic, audio?

Any memories of the covers?
