Mass Effect question

It's not even out yet, N.K. Jemisin is a great writer, but that's not guarantee that it'll be a good book, the co-author is Mac Walters (one of the two people responsible for the original ending of Mass Effect 3 and the director of Andromeda, which although an OK game was not on par with the trilogy) and the topic of the book is the ultimate weeablue Cora Harper.

I won't be buying this book until I see reviews about it, Nexus Uprising was the best Mass Effect book I've read but I don't find Cora to be a compelling character
