Possible books to merge

I just applied to be a librarian, but from the style guide I think these two books need to be "merged" because they are exactly the same. Same release date, publisher, etc. The pre-release version should go away in the merge. Is that right?

An ebook (with an ISBN) and a Kindle edition (with an ASIN) are distinct editions which should not be merged.

You again shelved two editions, one with a review and one without.
