After the ending of the second book, I became a die hard Peter fan. I know it sounds terrible considering all he does throughout the series, but I can't help it. I wish after he saves Tris that we learned more about him. Like background, thoughts, anything? Is it just me?

Well I mean at the end of the second book Roth begins to humanize Peter. I feel like she needed to finish what she started. Peter somehow became one of my favorite characters and I wanted to know more where all his anger came from
I don't think she humanises him. He says so himself that the reason he helped to save tris is because she saved him earlier on and it's all a game to him - he always needs to get even with everybody no matter what. He didn't do it out of some sort of kindness. But it's true that in Allegiant he's mostly forgotten, but at the same time that's probably a good thing.
But he wasn't forced or even asked to save Tris. He made a decision to save her no matter the reason
I wanted some personal growth from Peter and some sort of consequences for all his actions. Other than that, no I really didn't like him much.

umm I don't know how some people forget, but he hung Tris OVER THE CHASM and TOUCHED HER IN PLACES THAT HE SHOULDN'T SO... I hate him and glad he is a stupid idiot who has absolutely no memory.
i think i'm with you.lol. i know it's stupid, but i like some bad guy in some books/movies.
i like draco malfoy in harry potter, caius volturi in twilight saga, damon in vampire diaries, light/kira in death note, and peter in divergent.
so yeah, i want more of peter. but not peter with 'new life' absolutely
