Go for it, Carol! Maybe in one of these polls we can throw in Jane of Lantern Hill, which was just mentioned in one of our threads. No rush, though. I might be convinced to join another Goudge group read.

I can add Jane to this poll if someone is willing to lead. :)
I'll give it a couple of days then put up the poll. I have no preference on the other 4 books (although I have read Green Dolphin Country before) I'm keen to read them all! :)

I've read Green Dolphin Street (I believe that's the U.S. title) and Jane before, but I'm open to reading any of them.

Green Dolphin and Jane sound the best to me. I've read a lot of LMM books and don't remember knowing about this one. It would be a real treat for me.
I'd be open to any of those books. They all sound great. We could certainly have some interesting discussion about Jane's mother.
I started reading Jane last night; it was calling my name. I couldn't wait for the results of the poll. :) I'm still happy to lead the discussion in October if it wins, though.
The ebook of Jane of Lantern Hill is available for free in various formats at this website: http://fadedpage.com/showbook.php?pid...This looks more convenient than Gutenberg Australia. :)
Well, if Jane is chosen, it would give me an excuse to buy a copy! (I already have Green Dolphin Street and The White Witch, and I think my library has the other two)

That is so cool!!!
Used copies of The White Witch start at $5 (including shipping) on Abebooks. Most of them are being shipped from the UK so our UK readers may get a better deal. The UK ebook is also cheaper than the US one. :) Abebooks link: https://www.abebooks.com/servlet/Sear...
I'm looking forward to it - there is a plethora of herbs and flowers in it and I swear I'll take notes this time.
I'm excited about this one - missed out on the previous Elizabeth Goudge read because I couldn't get hold of the book, but this one is a lot cheaper on Kindle and I think the library might have it too - will check now.
I'll be sitting this one out--too much to do at the end of Oct. Worse, I'm falling behind on other reading I want to do.Y'all have fun. I'll probably read the threads, even If I don't read the book.

That's fine. I already have some ideas for November. :)
