I apologize now for the lack of knowledge on this one. I love baseball and I vaguely remember reading a book a long time ago where the main female character falls for a professional baseball player. There may have been some outside issues with family, maybe even murder involved? Not sure, any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks

I probably read it about 5 years ago or so. I think it was a romance/mystery. I want to say the cover was hot pink for some reason. I definitely know its for adults because there were some pretty descriptive sexual scenes in the book. I remember the male characters family being involved in a negative way.
