It's amazing!! I like how he has certain descriptions of words or phrases at the bottom of the pages.

When will we be discussing the book? I was just wondering for a heads up When you decide the date please send a group message about it.

I haven't started it yet but I'm thinking about reading a few chapters tonight since I'm out of town I really have nothing to do

So I'm on chapter 6 and it's actually not too bad so far but I don't really like the footnotes cause it distracts me or I totally skip them and then I reach the bottom of the page and realize there was a footnote

Oh I like them because they explain things but I agree they can be a bit distracting.

I just finished reading this book.
My thoughts :)


(view spoiler)[ I enjoyed this book a lot. I know some people didn't like the lack of a plot, but I don't think there was too much of a need for it. The characters and dialogue and events of the book were hilarious. And John Green's writing is just perfect. His books are so "quotable". My copy has about 30 little tabs marking different quotes I enjoyed.
I was happy Colin developed and stopped being so whiny. I understand that everyone wants to matter but I was getting a little annoyed at the fact that he was blaming all the Katherines for dumping him when he was partially at fault too. Not to mention that he didn't really "date" 19 Katherines. But then again, everyone defines relationships differently.
I liked how Green also threw some diversity into the mix with Hassan. I have always noted the lack of Muslim characters in a lot YA.
I was just to fugging happy that this book didn't break my heart as TFIOS did. (I have no idea why I was under the assumption that all his books made the reader bawl like a baby lol). (hide spoiler)]
