ABANDONED. Alien Romance: Aliens save humans from post apocalytic earth

Okay, so I think I read this book like 1-3 years ago and it starts off with a family with a military father running through the streets to get to a bunker (I think because a nuclear bomb is coming). One of the two daughters is separated from the family (because they wouldn't hold her hand) and so this daughter (the main character) is flees into the subway tunnels with an old man to escape the blast. She grows up in the tunnels with other random people.
The leaders of Earth had sent out a distress signal asking for help prior to the bombing and this group of aliens respond to the call over a decade later, never really expecting to find any humans alive. One alien does find a human alive however, when the female main character goes to the surface full of radiation, to make a supply run. She ends up saving the alien guy, but gets shot in the process. He takes her back to the alien ship to be healed by his brother (a doctor on the ship). The female lead falls in love with the alien who brought her to the ship and she gets to know his father (leader of alien crew) and brothers on the ship. The alien family locates female's family, but lead female can't face them because she feels like they abandoned her.
I think this a series with at least two books because the second book is about the female lead's sister falling in love with one of the aliens as well, even though she is jealous of her sister because their parent's were focused on female lead when she was lost and after she returned. She envy's how strong her sister is.
Please help me find this book because I want to reread it, but it's driving me crazy that I can't remember the title or find the book.
