Can anyone help me find a book I read in the 90's?

I hope someone can help me. I read a book in the 90's and I've wanted to read it again but I can't remember the title or author. The cover had a jeweled dagger on it. The story was set in modern day Massachusetts in the Berkshires. The female character worked in a museum and had a fascination with this dagger and an old near by cemetery. When she touched the dagger, she was transported back in time to Colonial Massachusetts. She found the original owner of the dagger. She fell in love with him and they married. Come to find out the cemetery she was fascinated with was where she herself was buried. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you!
