Hi I read this short novel recently. It is a modern harlequin in which the h has a cheating husband and guess what he is cheating with the H's wife. The H's father inlaw wants custody of grand child and to put father in law off H offer's h to be his faincee in last scene thestand off between father in law and H. I thought it was a carole mortimer book but none seems to fit. Pls help

Why does the father-in-law want custody? Are there any PN elements? And are you sure that it's the H's father-in-law and not the h's? There is a PNR with it being the h's father-in-law (view spoiler)[the Mum has had a vampire turn her because she discovered she had cancer. Yes, vampires are out-of-the-coffin in this series. She did this because she knows that her fil will destroy her son if he gets custody. (hide spoiler)] If that matches up, I'll do a quick search in my books to find the title

No definitely not a pnr. And it is as recent as few months back. The father in law loved his daughter and feels the grandchild is the only connection left and blames the H for the daughters death.

I'm pretty sure this is a Carole Mortimer The Millionaire's Contract Bride It is also in two different 'duet' or two novel books by Harlequin. Hope this helps.
