SOLVED. A book about a girl who can talk to animals and goes to the amazon. [s]

this book is about a girl who gets hit by a car then the doctors find a tumor in her brain. she then get operated on and he is then taken home. when she is hanging at home her cat starts talking to her. he tells her that she is now "worshiped" by all animals. she gets kidnapped and taken to the amazon {forgot why a how} . there is also a story about her dad who she hasn't heard anything from for a while. her dad had a plane crash and he stuck in a giant ditch where there is extinct animals. the girl is then trying to stop the guys who kidnapped her from poaching almost extinct animals. then stuff happens {i don't remember} . she goes back home and everything is good.

it would be so great if someone helped me. hopefully i gave you enough information.

the cover of the book had a picture of the word with animals around it. it is in cartoon and the background colour is blue.

i'm in Australia but i'm not sure where the author was from maybe Britain. that was where the book first started.

I know I read this book... but all I can remember is that it was a middle school level book and is about 2-3 centimeters thick.
