Hey, Noor. I debated and procrastinated for over a day with that review. 2-star reviews break my heart.

I loved the world you'd built, and I wanted to know more about it. The stories just need to be more focused.

:) Good to know you liked the world, Watson. The stories were written over about a ten year period and were only placed into this collection very recently when I realized that they all had something to do with the Sorcerer King and his influence on the lands he meddled in, so I can see why they'd feel a bit disconnected.

It was a great Dystopian story, very thought-provoking. I even nominated it for the goodreads awards as a write-in. Not sure if that will help anyone discover it, but I thought it deserved to be up there.

I also checked out the publication date for Grounded, but it was before 2017 so I guess I can't nominate it :(
