YES!! That's the one! I hope she ships for you.

Deb, we're talking DARK CHOCOLATE covered caramels with salt! :-D

Susan (aka Just My Op) (justmyop) | 234 comments Come on, people! I'm trying to lose a few pounds here! ;-)

I know that some places that will ship in the winter won't ship in the warmer months. Just as well - I don't need to be ordering any dark chocolate covered caramels with sea salt.

Linda, you sound like my DH who calls his evening glass of wine his "medicine". LOL!

Going back to January for this recipe. I've been looking for an inexpensive turkey breast all year & at last found one. However, it's too large for my crockpot. I'm wondering, JoAnn (or anyone else who tried this recipe), do you use a boneless breast or something else? My crockpot is rather large, so i was surprised it wouldn't fit. Of course i could carve into it but i'd rather not.

JoAnn/QuAppelle Kirk | 3482 comments my niece puts the turkey breast (with bones) in the crockpot even when it is too large and covers/seals the crockpot with aluminum foil.

Madrano (madran) | 3137 comments Ah, that's a good idea. Long ago the glass on my old, old crockpot broke & i used foil. Odd that i didn't think of that. Thanks, JoAnn, for the prompt reply.

deb, with roll dough already rising

JoAnn/QuAppelle Kirk | 3482 comments I just looked upthread where we were talking about chocolate-covered salted caramels. I found them in a store in Annapolis last week. Six in the box for $7.95. My husband almost choked at the price. They were DELICIOUS!!!

Madrano (madran) | 3137 comments LOL--i well remember that post, as it was the first time i'd heard of such a thing. That gem in on my holiday stocking wish list. DH will probably choke too but in the spirit of the season i suspect i'll get them! Or maybe just one.

Madrano (madran) | 3137 comments In my morning post i mentioned my rolls & wanted to share a thought here. Since moving to Texas i've had awful luck with my rolls--they just didn't rise. After altering the recipe and trying different methods i just happened upon the answer. It's that darned bread machine, which i used to knead the dough! It OVERkneads them, not that i knew there was such a thing.

While it's perfect for pizza dough, for rolls and such it's been my personal failure. At least i finally figured it out. Today when i rolled out the dough i cut & formed the rolls to compensate for the old style. Now we have gigantic rolls for tomorrow's meal. At least they'll suck up the gravy well. I only partially baked them & will finish them just before the meal.

Happy Dining, Friends.

They had some sitting out at work last week. The salt was too much (those big pieces like they put on soft pretzels) and I tried to brush most of it off. I love the mixture of salt and chocolate in chocolate covered pretzels though.

JoAnn/QuAppelle Kirk | 3482 comments Julie, My pieces of chocolate had about 4-6 flakes of salt each, and I know why...more would just be too much. Each one had a different kind of sea salt, some flakes smaller than others.

Julie (readerjules) | 945 comments I bet they are really good if done right. But these weren't. When I grabbed one, the woman whose desk is nearby even said "Enjoy your salt"!
