From what I remember about this book, it's set in a sort of older time period, the main character is helping make furniture for a sort of homemade dollhouse thingy or a Christmas miniature of sorts, she sees a ghost of a girl who is soaking wet and maybe wearing ice skates. I think the main character also climbs a tree and gets hurt, but unclear if that was from a different book or not.
