Ha! Yeah, I can see that. I had to stop last week just so everyone could catch up or start the book. Hoping to finish up this week. It's been really good so far!

Finished it yesterday. I liked it 10 years ago and I still love it :) From the very beginning till the end.

Ginelli is indeed a very good friend. Every time I read this book, I imagine Robert Downey Jr. in his role. Yeah, I know, it's funny.

And I love how sinister the ending is. I remember the ending in the movie but in the book it is a little bit different

Up to ch 11, so far its interesting but hasn't sucked me in like other King novels. My first was Firestarter assigned in an English class.

Okay, so this is a question for anyone that's gotten past the police officer chapters.
Question on the police officer: (view spoiler)[Any idea on what the gypsy said to him when he cursed him? He's obviously jacked with skin diseases. Maybe a pestilence on society? I would love some ideas on what you think he was cursed with or what YOU think the gypsy said.

Man, I prefer to believe that the AWFUL, CAMPY, TERRIBLY-ACTED, POOR EFFECTS RIDDEN, LAMPOON of a film adaptation doesn't even exist for this one...It COULD have been great...my only hope is that with alllll of the King-related re-makes and TV shows abounding lately, this one will someday get the budget that it deserves and a GOOD film could be in the future....--Jen from Quebec :0)

I hope they do a remake of this one day. The premise of it is excellent for a horror movie!

I saw Billy as a tragic anti-hero. I mean was he really such a bad person? Yes he was a glutton, but everyone has some sort of vice. To me he was just a normal guy with one very bad piece of bad luck.

I found it interesting that King brought in the concept, if not the name "multi-verse" when he thought about Billy's car accident.
