Okay, there is something seriously wrong with Aiden. I know that, you know that, we all know that. I always try to understand each book character that I read about. Once I have a better understanding of them I can actually decide whether I like them or not. I didn't get that with Aiden.. I feel like he is such strange individual. I don't know how I feel about him. It's almost as if he doesn't have his own identity. I don't know who he is. I know that he trains slaves and is good at what he does since he mentions it...ALOT. Even as a teen there was something off about him. We never got that answer. What is that something? Why is he like this? Did he go through something, is he sick in the head? Was he born this way? WHAT IS IT?! I'll give it to him he said from the beginning that he wasn't looking for love and that the "heroine " wouldn't change him and she sure didn't so I'll give him that. However he did change her. Now she's as sick him. There's something wrong with both of them now that I think about it :/. What's frustrating is that we started getting a story from his past about his mother and I almost felt bad for him, till I found out he couldn't care less. This story just feels unfinished. Where's the closure? There is none. -_- I noticed that the second book for this series is a different story. It's like seriously....this is how this story ends? Does anyone know if there is a continuation? Maybe a 1.5..? Cause.. that would be great ^_^

no clue and to be frank lol I wouldn't read more about this sick duo....
I usually let character's worthy of the emotion get to me, but these characters did nothing for me.

I think the author wrote the book this way to keep us hooked, to keep a little mystery.
I must admit Aiden was too cruel and i couldn't feel anything for him, i also felt bad for the girl, seeing how easily she was manipulated and how unstable she was. It was indeed a very dark book and it had no fairy tale ending, but it was unique and in the end i fell in love with the author, she's a genius !

I dont feel like we were meant to get Aiden's back story and I for one didn't want it. This story was about How Aiden trains women to be sold . He didn't want a HEA however Rebecca did with Aiden and the only way for her to have that was to be like him . Rebecca would do anything to be with Aiden however to me she wasn't a week women either I for one can't wait for the next book , who knows maybe we will get some Aiden and Rebecca too
