Should I read this?

Is this series worth reading? I just want to know I've heard that its not really the best series out there some people say its boring some people say it has too annoying charachters, while others say they absolutely loved it and that its their fav series ever, i know it was a pretty hyped book a while back, so people mustve really liked it, but whats your opinion. Just tell me should I try reading this series or not? It would be lovely if you could tell me why I should/shouldnt, so that i have more to go on, but you dont have to. No spoilers please

welll in the middle of reading this series my friend told me it was a waste of time....honestly it wasnt because i wouldnt have met such awesome characters sooo..i do think you shuld read it...warning though its not as awesome as others ive read..

The book was quite brilliant in some parts and others were just hard to grasp what was going on. But all in all it is a great book so it is worth the read.

Just realized I rated it one star. Honestly don't know why, it's probably because of my personal preferences (dislike of werewolves)

No, very purple prose, not much story. Mostly conversations in cars. Multiple eye-roll inducing.

I love fantasy and fiction book and this one was OK. I wouldn't call it amazing and compared to other YA fiction books out there it can get boring fast. However on its own it's not bad. If you have time on your hands I would say read it. If you don't have a lot of time to read you will end up feeling disappointed in choosing it.

I didn't really enjoy this book much. It was a slow pace, though this doesn't necessarily need to be a bad thing but this time it was. I kind of felt nothing for the character and most of the time it felt like I had read this before.

I dont think its book 4, it's a spinoff about the side characters or something, ive heard that people seem to like these characters more than the main, but no one seems to be very pleased with the new book

I love Grace, normally i find the female character a bit like in other books (a character i love) but it feels like this person is a lot like this other person in this other book and yada yada yada... but Grace was different and i liked it!!!

This is a weird one, it's different, which is a good thing. It's not action packed, it's more about people and relationships and life I guess.

It can be a bit slow, but I think that's the tone of the books :)

I enjoyed the series. Felt much more believable than other stories in the genre. I love Maggie Stiefvater's writing so I may be biased. There is only one way to find out if you'll like it or not - try it. It's free from the library!

it's not necessarily the best book but it's a guilty pleasure to read :-)

Yes!!! Its such an amazing book (and series). If you enjoy books about romance and werewolves. It's very well written, has an amazing plot and characters and is just AMAZING!. Plus the next book has just come out!! :)

If you're into romance and werewolves, I think you should read it. I personally hated it but that's probably because I'm not really into supernatural books (and I thought the romance was too cheesy), but then again, it's personal taste.

I really didn't like the parts when Sam mention stuff from the past that was so boring. I like werewolves but not in Shiver personally.

I'd say no, I read the first book, it was "okay" nothing really special about the storyline. I DNF a quarter way through the second book. Got so boring.

It's aptly called 3.5 when looking at the series in the library. It is not book four and is not even about the same characters, it's a spin off. From what I have read of the inside cover (SPOILER ALERT)--> its about another member of the back and his so called "mate"

I think that you should read it. It's really good, if you like romance. I didn't like it as much as i like other werewolf books, like Hemlockor City of Bones

You should read it if you're into paranormal/werewolf/romance type stuff. Personally, I found the book irritating sometimes and annoying and I'm not very interested in continuing the series. But I suppose it was alright, for the most part.

This series is really good!! I agree the comments saying that it drags on however, if you can get past those parts, it gets really good. So I read books like Hunger Games, Divergent, Mortal Instruments, Infernal Devices, Wings Series and the like and I liked this series so that may help with your decision, or it may not, just thought I would put it out there just in case it helps. :) But all in all this book series is great and I recommend it for anyone who likes the werewolf/fantasy style and who isn't squeamish.
