Let me see if I understand this--the pov is from the FISH? If so--when this is found, I have GOT to read it. :o)
When did our read this? What age range is it aimed at? Where is it set--city, town, country and what COUNTRY is it set in--U.S., Canada, U.K, France? Any memories of the cover? How did you find this book--browsing through the stacks, saw a review, person recommendation, On an Our staff Recommends shelf?

Carrie, I closed the second thread you had started about this topic. Please only post once per book. Store the address in a safe place (folder of your fav sites, a document with the address pasted in etc.) since we have many, many members and many postings.

I read the book on kindle so do not remember cover and it was adult romance/mystery....

I've read something similar by Theodore Geisel. The stalker is a shape-shifter, kind of feline, and during the home invasion the humans just stare, mesmerized, and the fish is the only voice of reason, insisting the intruder leave, but the stalker only mocks it. The stalker wears a distinctive hat.

The heorine is being stalked, and the hero takes her out of town to visit his sister. While away, the hero's associate comes in to feed the fish and is told in the fish's pov. The fish loves the heroine and his pov is quite funny.
