Read this probably around 2004, I think it might have a sequel as well although I never read that.

The protagonist is a girl I think around middle school age who sees a double of herself and then discovers she has been cloned because she has a medical condition and the clone is for "spare parts". She then discovers she is the clone of her parent's original daughter who died of the condition. I think there was a reveal that the scientist who created them was supposed to only being growing replacement organs, but they were dying not being in a human body, so he was forced to create a sentient clone.

The only scene I really remember in detail is one where the protagonist finds a photo of herself wearing overalls and knows that it can't be her because she never wears overalls. When she challengers her parents, they clame it was a costume party and show her a picture of her father dressed as Hercules.

Also, I just remembered, the medical condition (whatever it is) is making her go blind.
