"Only because you place yourself above them. You think they are some creature that you are better than because you have power." she stood up and shoved her things into her bag. She walked away, her bikini clad body not covered because she had left her towel behind.
"Humans are cruel and manipulative!" he calls after her
She stopped in her tracks. She turned to him and glared. "And you aren't?" she asked him.
"So you weren't trying to manipulate me? Get me to go to lunch with you without asking?" she reminded him
"I was joking. God I wasn't going to drug you and force you to." he says
"I know that. But still you can't judge them Quinn." she told him gently.
"Yes I can. Not all humans like us you know."
"Yes but there are plenty that don't mind us. You can't lump them all into the same category."
"There's still time for you to meet plenty." she told him
"I don't want to meet any." he says evenly.
He let's her go. She'd see. They all sucked.
She stood there watching him for a moment. "You want to go het somethin to eat?" she asked him
"No. I was just seeing what you would say. I don't have a boyfriend" she told him
He looks at her shocked,"What are you serious?" he crosses his arms
"Yes. I'm good but that doesn't mean that I'm not dishonest. I was testing your character anyway." she reasoned
"No. Far from it." she chuckled.
"Yeah I figured. But you still want to go out for lunch?"
"I don't see why not. Like you said you wouldn't force me to go with you and I doubt you would actually harm me. Theefore I see no reason not to get lunch with you."
""I hope you have a car. I'm not in the mood to walk very far." she admitted
"I do but hold on I have to change." he says going into the locker room and coming out in jeans and t-shirt. "Okay let's go."
"Um ... well you wouldn't happen to have a shirt I could wear do you?" she asked looking down at her bikini and blushing a bit
"So you came here without clothes or a car?" he laughs
"Yeah kind of" she blushed deeper now.
He chuckles,"You could just wear the bikini." he smirks. "Hold on I probably have something." he says and digs through his bag. He finds a Tshirts of his brothers that got stuffed in their and a pair of his own drawstring workout pants.
"Oh you are a life saver" she took the clothes and kissed his cheek
"Why?" she asked pulling the clothes on over her bikini right in front of him.
"Of that." he shrugs,"Where are we going to lunch?" he asks leading the way to his car
"You have the car." she reminded him.
He shrugs,"Okay." he opens the door for her once they get there.
"Thanks" she smiled and got into the car.
"Gotta earn extra credit." he smirks getting into the driver's seat,"Since I failed the test."
"Well you are doing pretty darn well." she chuckled.
"Sweet." he grins and turns up the radio a little too loud.
She closed her eyes and leaned her head back against the head rest. She let him drive not minding where he took her to eat
He rolls down the window and taps the steering wheel to the tune.
"What are we listening too?" she asked him
"I don't." she reminded him
"Ah right. Cause you're a saint and all."
"Quite the contrary actually. I can be a bad girl."
