She watched him, actually checking him out for the first time, and she did like what she saw. The only flaw was that he was bad
He smirks to himself knowing she was checking him out.
Kara went back to her book and tried to concentrate on it, but it was really hard with him right there
"Everneath" she replied glancing over the top of her book at him.
"What's it about?" he asks done swimming for now. He grabs a towel and dries off
"Well this girl went to the underworld with the guy, but he tricked her and she doesn't want any part of it so she does what's called a return. Right now it's a week before she went with him but like she is skipping back in time remembering those things so presently she is trying to get the guy to just let her die. But then there is the guy that she came back for and her family and its really just kind of confusing." She told him
"Ah. Well I'm already confused and I'm not even reading it." he smirks
"Exactly." She shook her head. "Do you read?" She asked him
"Okay" she shrugged and set her book down in her lap.
"Being a book worm is frowned upon in my camp." he smiles sitting in the chair next to hers
"What if you did it in secret?" She asked
"Ooo rebel." he smiles,"Id need a place I can be alone and when you have a twin brother that's no where. Sometimes I swear he has a tracking device on me."
"Wait you have a twin?" she asked curiously.
He nods,"Yup but I'm better looking." He smirks
"Oh lord. Well how am I supposed to tell you apart if you look the same?" she asked him.
He shrugs,"Guess we'll see." he laughs.
She smiled. "So what is it that you are doing after this?" she asked curiously
He smiles,"Taking you to lunch." He says cheekily
"Oh really? And I see you aren't going to even ask me to see if I would like to go" she rolled her eyes.
"Why you don't want to?" he asks not believing that.
"Well I do not believe my boyfriend would like me having lunch with another man" she told him seriously.
He actually looks momentarily disappointed.
"Why the look?" she asked him with a smile.
"Just thinking about how wimpy your boyfriend probably is."
"Why do you believe that he is wimpy?" she asked him.
"Who said he was in the good camp?" she smirked
He laughs,"Oh come on. If you say he's notI won't believe you. Are you with a human?"
"Yes. What is wrong with that?" she asked, her tone had an angry edge to it
"Because they're human." he frowns,"Does he even knew about what you are?"
"For your information yes he does." she told him angriky
"That's a stupid move. He'll probably turn you in to a facility next week so they can pick apart your brain."
"Except he has known for quite some time."
She rolled her eyes and went back to reading.
"You seriously have a human boyfriend though?"
"It's not that strange. What is strange is that I don't know your name."
"Why Quinn is it strange?" she sighed putting her book back down
"Because it's not normal. He's not like you."
"And you are? How are you anymore like me than he is?" she asked him.
He sighs,"I just wouldn't trust a human"
"And a lot of people don't trust the evil camp." she fired back
