Jenna (OP) was last active on the site in May 2018.
The story pretty much starts with the young woman attending a carnival where she finds a coffin in the haunted house. There she awakens a sleeping vampire, who becomes quickly becomes her unlikely love interest. During the first half of the first novel, we meet a hunter - who's clan name is Hunter - who becomes the protagonist's second love interest, and who dedicates himself to protecting the young woman and wanting to kill the vampire. Through magic or whatever, the three characters end up time traveling to the past, where they meet the vampire's sire and former lover. In the climax, the hunter is seriously wounded and the young woman begs the vampire to save his life, thus turning the hunter into a vampire as well.
In the sequel, which is from the point of view of the hunter-turned-vampire, he stuggles to accept his new existence and his hatred his sire/rival. He ends up feeding on another young woman and pretty much forced to abduct her to keep her alive - which unfortunately leads him to feed off her regularly there after. The book ends with those two becoming a couple with the young woman gets turned into a vampire, the original protagonist from the first book also becomes a vampire, and the hunter has to deal with his clan.
