YA Book about a boy who draws a picture of his principal as a pig (with the caption reading something like "Palkins is a Pig"). He has a younger brother named Jerry, an older brother named Pete, a friend named Audra, and a friend/mentor named Angie. Cover art looked like it might have been a Betsy Byars book (but wasn't). Read it in the mid to late 1980s.
