It's a romance novel with a male with a family curse to turn in to a monster that eats humans. It's some sort of Egyptian monster. The only way to control it is if he mates with a female that he grew up.with. The guy lived with the girls family until the mother of the girl leaves her husband and takes the girl away. He finally finds her and lives with her hoping to convince her to mate with him. she stops him from eating a woman b having sex with him while locked in a cell. I hope that helps. Thank you.

Can you describe what the monster looks like?
I think it was in 2007. I can't remember what the monster looked like. The hero parents had died and he went to live with the heroine family. The heroine father had the same curse. When the heroine mother left the father he went crazy.. I think he may have killed himself. The hero finds the heroine as an adult and stays with her in her apt trying to seduce her. They end up sharing a bed but no sex until they were captured by the bad guys. He had changed while in a cell with the heroine and another female. He was going to eat the other female but the heroine distracted him with sex.

What are the main characters' jobs? How old are they?
The heroine was a social worker I don't remember if the guy had any job except being rich. She was engaged to a business guy. They both would have been in their 20's. As for the monster being Egyptian in origin that's what I remembered.The novel takes place in the USA, in a big city.. ..thanks for the help.
