I went out and got the physical copy when I was halfway through the audiobook, just to have it because the layout is very cool, but the full cast and sound effects on the audiobook were amazing.

Ok, I FINALLY started this one. The library lost my hold so I gave up and just started on audio after reading a bunch of positive audiobook reviews. I'm about 5% in but I'm not sure I'm loving the narration layout.

I hope the audio gets better for you!
I'm at about 33% and I think I need to pause. I feel like I'm missing something with not having the pictures and such in front of me. The library called and finally got my hold situation worked out so I'm going to pick it up tonight and will try it again when I have the book.
I must be the only one who hated Aidan. Creepy, stalkerish AI. lol

I love the crazies, they're often my favourite characters!
After working for over a decade in an inpatient psychiatric setting I guess I find the "crazies" a lot less entertaining. :-)

Finished!! 5 stars. I couldn't stop turning the pages, it looked so cool visually and the story kept me going. Absolutely loved (view spoiler)

Alright, fair enough.
I stopped the audiobook at about 35% and then went about 60% thought in the regular book. I actually stopped the regular book for a bit and reread some of the beginning parts again. I think a lot is lost in audio. So many scratch outs and side notes that you don't get. I'm really happy I decided to get the physical book. Thank you all for the suggestion.

I'm finally finished! I loved this book, definitely one of my most enjoyable reads so far this year, I have to see, AIDAN stole the freaking show.

It arrived today! I'm still thinking about the end... That's how you know you enjoyed a book I think, when you're still invested it in even after you've finished.

41% in, I really like the formatting. This book is so visually cool, I'm glad I picked up a physical copy (I usually read on my Kindle).The book is very YA. The first 20% were a bit tedious but the plot is advancing now. I really want to know (view spoiler)

It's definitely one of the coolest looking books I've read, glad you're enjoying it!

I have been trying to read all books together and getting irritated with most... But I'm 10% in on illuminae so far and I like it.

it's so good! i laughed so many times, and i know we are dealing with really serious issues potentially killing everyone at any given point it's an excellent combination.and i love the format.

Definitely scary! I wanted to hide my eyes after reading this book.

I think this books strengths definitely lie in the format, it just makes it a cool reading experience. It's a shame you didn't connect with the characters though.
