For Linda C.I loved all your choices, so this was really difficult. The southern ladies sounded really great, but I chose Aunt Dimity for you as this is my all time favorite series. But, I will have to put your Southern ladies on my to read list. I hope you are happy with the choice. Happy reading.

That's really great Meg! I've been wanting to get back to these for quite a while, so I am thrilled with your choice. Thanks.

Thanks, Sandra, this will finish up this short series for me. And Lorelei King narrates them, so I'm looking forward to listening.

I've just read the third one in the series (I don't usually follow the order) and I've liked it. And I hope you enjoy the Diva series, people usually likes it (I haven't read it).

I read the first Diva book a while back and enjoyed it. I really need to get the rest of the series.

Thank you! Those are always enjoyable.
I pick the Booktown series for Cynthia Cynthia - I love this series! I thought it was so fun that your choices were all book themed :)
Connie N. wrote: "Kristie, I pick the Knitting series by Maggie Sefton for you. I've read a couple of these and enjoyed them, although you're a lot further along than I am."Thank you, Connie! I'll be glad to get caught up with this series :)

Thank you so much! I do try to have a theme for each month.
Hi Michelle. I pick the Fire Pepper Brigade series for you. I haven't started this series yet, but heard it's good.
Thank you Misty I have read the first one and it is very good I am excited to read the rest of the series.

Thank you!
Finished the first book in the Red Carpet mysteries, Murder on the Red Carpet, and found it to be a quick, easy read. Not perfect but a good read. Getting to the second one soon...
Finished my first book for the month - Murder at the Opera. She doesn't always have the same main characters so I was happy to see my favorite recurring characters in this book!

Finished the first of my serial reads for the month,
. It was a fun, quick read. I liked it, but didn't love it. Also worth noting (although it didn't bother me), while the front cover identifies the book as a "Cruise Ship cozy," this is also a Christian cozy. Nothing heavy-handed, the MC goes to the ship's chapel and cites a bible verse or two. Still, it might be off-putting to some readers. A brief break and then on to book 2.
Finished the first of my two. Lots of fun. Will be starting book 2 next weekend. For those who are offended by 4 letter words, some of them get used in this book. Admittedly they are talking in most cases about animal waste and keeping it out of the local creek.
I finished my first September book by Lorna Barrett - Bookmarked for Death. I had not realized that I had this on my "to read" list for this long, so it is good to check it off. Starting on Bookplate Special next.
Last week I finished both September books in only one week. I like Ben Aaronovitchs Peter Grant Series, but they became a little bit boring for me.
I've finished First Case, the first in my serial read and I've enjoyed it a lot. Now to the second one and, later, waiting to October for the fourth book.

I will confess that I tend to stagger them or they run into each other

Finished my first and will have finished my second before I go to bed this evening:
Silence of the Lamb's Wool
Wound Up in Murder
Read the first few pages of my second book, probably will not make major progress until this weekend.
Finished my second book for September:
. I liked it much better than the first book in the series. The characters are really coming into their own.
I have finished my second book in the challenge: Second Look. I've enjoyed it a lot and I've read it very, very fast. Now, waiting for the fourth book in October, because I want to keep on reading it.
I finished my second book in September challenge "In Hot Water" by J.J. Cook I really enjoyed this series and recommend to anyone who likes ghost helping main characters solve mystery.
I finished both of my books for this month. Knitting series #14 and #15
.
Knit to be Tied was great, loved it. Only Skein Deep was awful, not a cozy in any sense of the word. I have had a love/hate relationship with this series for years, glad to be caught up but do not plan on reading any future books (if there are any)
Finished 2 of 2Witch's Cat Mystery Series
by Delia James
✔A Familiar Tail #1 by Delia James
✔By Familiar Means #2 by Delia James
Finally finished my first for this month,
and about to start my second. I started late as I was reading a book for another challenge, and my progress was slowed by travel, when I listen to audiobooks, and the very fine print in the paperback version, which is difficult to read at night in bed.I'll read another in this series for the challenge, but I'm not sure I will persist with the series.
Finished my second challenge book for the month,
, just in time. I definitely won't be reading any more of this particular series!
Yea. I failed this month. Haven't even finished the first book. Things have been so crazy. Hopefully I will be back for the November challenge
I just joined the group so didn't read September's selection. I am curious though- why wouldn't you read anymore of the series? What didn't you like about this one?
Becky wrote: "I just joined the group so didn't read September's selection. I am curious though- why wouldn't you read anymore of the series? What didn't you like about this one?"Becky, I think you are referring to me. Each person in the challenge is reading different books. They nominate 5 series, and someone else picks one for them to read, so all of us were reading different books.
If you click on the cover in the post, it will take you to Goodreads reviews of the books. I write a brief review of every book I read. My reviews of the two books in the series that I read should explain why I won't be reading any more!

It's not school Danielle so If you didn't read the books there is no test or failing grade! Sometimes life gets busy and we have less time to read than we would like. Give your self a break!
