Lucy and Jack have a history that's slowly revealed throughout the story. What's their mutual attraction? Did you believe, after this story, that she ever had feelings for Dan and he for her?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 849 comments The crusader gene. They both have a need to fight for the underdog. Lucy never had more than deep friendship for Dan, even though she wanted to feel more. Dan, he had it bad for Lucy, He will lick his wounds, reevaluate, and be back.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments I was never invested in Lucy and Dan as a couple. Whatever feelings Dan may or may not have had for Lucy, they seemed to be more physical than emotional and were not reciprocated.

I've stated in the past I never saw a romantic angle between the two. I thought it was a mutual admiration but when he walked out like a petulant teenager, Dan moved down several notches in my opinion. He just walked off the job and with a rogue Bullet Catcher in the midst, he put Lucy at risk.

Agreed. It doesn't say much for him as either a friend or a lover that he would just up and leave like that. Irresponsible.
