Bullet Catchers owner Lucy Sharpe realizes she's being used for her connections, and she intends to use Jack Culver right back. She's determined to see justice served, even if that means partnering with the man who once found his way past her iron shields. This time, she'll be strong enough to avoid Jack's persuasive touch. I don’t know about you, but when I check out an author's bio, it’s usually because I’ve read a book I liked and wondered about the person behind it. Let's skip the formal bio and I'll give you the inside scoop on who Roxanne St. Claire really is.

First of all, call me Rocki. Everyone does. Evidently, when my mother brought me home from the hospital I seemed too scrawny and small to pull off “Roxanne” (she’d read Cyrano de Bergerac while pregnant or I would have been Judy) so they called me Rocki.

I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, the youngest of five (overachievers, every one), and fell in love with words and stories the summer I read Gone With The Wind. That year, for my twelfth birthday, my parents gave me a typewriter (with italic font – it was the coolest thing) and from that day on, I’ve had my fingers on a keyboard, pounding out love stories for fun. My AP English teacher taught me the two most important lessons an aspiring author ever needs: 1) verbs are the key to life and 2) a writer should get a real job. After attending UCLA and graduating with a degree in communications, I tried acting and television broadcasting. Oh, they aren’t real jobs? I learned that the hard way. I changed my last name from Zink to St. Claire because a news producer told me Roxanne Zink had too many harsh consonants for a TV personality – apparently Katie Couric didn’t get the memo. I got some fun gigs, and even met Tom Hanks when I did a guest appearance on Bosom Buddies. I liked on camera work, but wasn’t too crazy about starvation, so I moved to Boston and got that “real” job. In fact, I placed my foot on the bottom rung of the corporate ladder and didn’t look down until I’d climbed all the way up to the level of Senior Vice President at the world’s largest public relations firm. On the way up, I met the man of my dreams in an elevator. Two years later – in the same elevator! – he asked me to marry him and I wisely said yes.

I stayed in PR, moved to Miami, had a few babies, lost my home in a hurricane, built another one a few hours north and all along, I kept writing my “stories” for fun. One night, I read a particularly fabulous romance novel that changed my life for good. That night, I decided I wanted to make someone else feel as whole and happy as that author made me feel. (Everyone asks! It was Nobody’s Baby But Mine by Susan Elizabeth Phillips.) With two small children and one big “real” job, writing my first novel wasn’t easy, but I did finish a manuscript that managed to get the attention of a literary agent. She told me to do one thing and one thing fast: write another book. (The first one is usually a “learner” book, honestly.) That second manuscript sold to Simon & Schuster’s Pocket Books and was released in 2003 as Tropical Getaway. Since then, I’ve written almost thirty more, in multiple genres, and long ago replaced the corporate ladder with the rollercoaster of publishing as a full-time novelist. Finally, writing is my real job.

Today, I live in a small beach community in Florida with my husband and two dogs. Our kids are off to college and law school, which means my nest is empty! I spend my time writing, working with the kids at my church, enjoying my husband's gourmet cooking, and hanging with my many writer friends. Of course, I love to read. I’m still crazy about words and stories and hope to write at least a hundred books in my lifetime. And, yes, verbs are the key to life. My favorites? Love. Work. Believe.

xoxo
Rocki

At long last...................Lucy Sharpe's story is finally here. She has fascinated me from the very beginning of Roxanne St Claire's fabulous Bullet Catcher Series, featuring an organisation of highly trained security/investigation consultants.

Now You Die is the 6th book in the series and also the final in story of a trilogy that revolves around a story of a dying woman, Eileen Stafford, who has been in falsely imprisoned for 30 years for a murder she did not commit and who needs to find her daughters that had been illegally adopted when they were babies. The first two books were First You Run and Then You Hide and two of her daughters have been found and reunited with her.

Now You Die is the search for the third daughter. Jack Culver, an ex Bullet Catcher now PI has been in charge of the case from the first book, with the help of Lucy and her organisation.

The plot is filled with non-stop action, suspense, twists and turns and the investigation into the murder and the mystery that sent Eileen Stafford to jail reaches a breathtaking and unbelievable conclusion.

I have read the entire series and this is my ultimate best. I absolutely loved Jack and Lucy's story. Lucinda Sharpe is such a phenomenal heroine. Ex CIA agent now owner of her own organisation. Smart, fearless, beautiful, driven, loyal, lonely and takes no prisoners.

I want to be like her when I grow up!!!

Jack Culver.........oh man..........I'm totally in love with this guy!!!
 photo raw_zpscx18vyw6.gif
He's an alpha with a soft heart male!!!!

We finally discover what their history is and what secrets Lucy has that haunt her and make her so driven.
The chemistry between Lucy and Jack is incredible...........their sex scenes are pretty hot, sexy and sizzling.........
 photo tumblr_o1bbdiIe7z1tl7dy4o3_500_zps7x6fmvfr.gif
and I liked that there was also more than just the sexual attraction...they are also friends....loved the banter between each other.....they were a pretty awesome couple!
"They slid down the wall to the wet tiles. Their strangled breaths evened out.
And Lucy cupped her hands on his face and looked him in the eyes.
“You are the only one,” she whispered, still trembling. “You are.”
I found the Bullet Catcher Series to be a incredibly readable experience.

Each book can be read as a standalone whilst the arcs that work across all the books.

The author has created a group of characters that are engaging and brilliant heart-stopping romantic suspense that has made this series so fantastic.

This is the final book in the trilogy within this series. With the identities of all three daughters of Eileen Stafford uncovered, former Bullet Catcher Jack Culver is focused on discovering the identity of their father and the real murderer of Wanda Sloan. Bullet Catcher owner Lucy Sharpe is now completely invested in the investigation, offering up her full resources, even though she's not as convinced as Jack is about the suspected identity of the killer.

This is just as much Jack and Lucy's private story as it is about the investigation. We finally learn quite a bit about her past, enough to have a clearer picture of the character and what drives her, including Lucy's history with Jack. While I found her story compelling, their romance didn't engage me that much, primarily because he was too focused on it with every comment and I had imagined someone much more intriguing for her. Maybe it was just me.

I found the investigation to be the heart of the story and it engaged me from the start. It wasn't completely clear who was involved with whom as there were multiple agendas. There were a couple of twists that I never saw coming and threw me for a loop. It had a heck of an ending, some parts I got right and others a little off the mark. I really enjoyed this one, despite my issues with the romance.

Private Investigator Jack Culver has been trying to prove that a woman imprisoned for thirty years was wrongly convicted of murder. To make this happen, Jack needs the help of Lucy Sharpe. Lucy is the owner of Bullet Catchers, an elite group of personal protection specialists. She is also Jack's former boss and former lover. Jack and Lucy quickly pinpoint their suspect. Now they have to prove that this well-connected man is the real killer.

This is the last book in the mini-trilogy in the Bullet Catchers series. I liked the mystery in this story. There were a few twists and surprises that I didn't see coming. The romance between Jack and Lucy just didn't work for me. We really didn't get in their heads to know their feelings about each other. Lucy seemed like a very cold person. I never did warm up to her. My rating: 3.5 Stars.

Now You Die
3 Stars

In order to right a decades old wrong, former Bullet Catcher Jack Culver joins forces with his once boss and lover, Lucy Sharpe. As the two close in on their powerful target, they must put aside pride and distrust or risk losing everything including their lives.

Series note: This is book #3 in the mini- trilogy within the Bullet Catchers series. Consequently, it is recommended that the books be read in order.

An intriguing mystery and interesting investigation with some good twists, and the case is wrapped up satisfactorily. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of the romance, which is a significant letdown.

Neither Jack nor Lucy are particularly likeable either as individuals or as a couple. They are both controlling and self centered, and their actions are appallingly immature and unprofessional. Their romance feels forced as there is no real emotion behind their supposed feelings.

Two other problematic issues concern the Bullet Catchers as an organization. First, Dan Gallagher's behavior is also exceedingly unprofessional, and the fact that he would does not endear him as a potential hero. This is troubling as his book is next.

Second, the revelation that tarnishes the concept of the Bullet Catchers as the best of the best and the most loyal of loyal.

All in all, not the best in the series, but the suspense plot is satisfying.

Bullet Catchers are an elite group of personal protection specialists ruled over by sleek and sophisticated Lucy Sharpe. They are called into jobs where expertise in guns, technology, undercover, surveillance, and, yeah, defensive physical moves are needed. Their clientele must be referred and is comprised of the upper cream of society. While they are supposed to be professionals through and through, sometimes getting close to their principal (protected client) means letting the principal into their hearts

Finally, after 6 books, we get to Lucy Sharpe. Tall, svelte, sophisticated, controlled, Lucy runs her team with a cool efficacy that doesn't remotely show any chinks in her armor. And the only one to know about those chinks, Jack Culver, has long been barred from the Bullet Catchers. But now he's back. The case he's been working about a wrongly convicted woman on death row has caught Lucy's eye. With the real murder suspect in their sights, Lucy and Jack devise a scheme to get closer to him. But that also means getting closer to each other. Soon, the old passion is back. But can Lucy really learn to trust any man again, not to mention Jack whose lie nearly killed Lucy's best friend (and widely suspected lover) Dan many years ago?

When the murderer is revealed after three books, it is satisfying though not surprising. The suspense plot works out well, but this is the first book in a while for this series to give equal if not greater time to the relationship unfolding. And it's a good thing it does. Lucy's characterization was to near mythic proportions by the time this book came along. She doesn't lose anything that made her impressive before; she's not weaker or more needy or even much more sentimental here than she was in any book before. Instead her book gives her depths, facets, and greater reader sympathy without detracting from her innate strength. Similarly, Jack had been building into a strong, determined hero through the last two books; traits that are fleshed out here with compassion and desire added. A pretty much perfect conclusion to the trilogy within the series. Grade: A

I really think my main problem with this book is the fact that Lucy ended up with Jack rather than Dan. From the very beginning of the trio in this series you had suspected that she would end up with Jack but it was still a major dissapointment. So, it goes without saying that I really wasn't impressed with Jack's character. And, honestly, I think Roxanne St. Claire could have done a better job with Lucy's character.
When we're introduced to Lucy we think of her as this complex female that has the ability to stick up to all the men in her life. That perception is changed in this book when she not only tolerates Jack's orders but obeys them as well.
And with Jack's character you're predispositioned to hate him. This is probably from all the previous books ( First You Run, Then You Hide), but it's was still something I struggled with throughout the book. Lucy talks about his character as if he's an asshole and you're inclined to believe her because she's the character that you know better and because there are times when Jack proves it.
Probably the best thing about this book, besides the fact that it shows you a different side if Dan, is the little plot twist at the end. For the last two books you're inclined to belive that Higgie, even if you didn't know his name at that point, is the one that killed Wanda Sloan. The fact that his wife was the real murderer is something that you don't figure out until a few pages before Roxanne St. Claire reveals it to you.
Although, I didn't like that she ended the book without us knowing the real reason Higgie asked Eileen Staford to meet him by the graveyard all those years ago. That just doesn't leave you as satisfied as you should be.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

I guess Roxanne St. Claire lives by the old adage 'save the best for last' because -- HOLY CRAP! -- the final book, "Now You Die", in her trilogy within the "Bullet Catchers" series was freakin' awesome!!! Not only do we get closure to the Eileen Stafford case, but we also get to see a realistic and terribly romantic relationship between two imperfect yet likable people. (Kudos to Ms. St. Claire for not relying on the perfect-man-meets-average-woman-and-falls-in-love or good-girl-meets-bad-boy-and-brings-out-his-sensitive-side scenarios...even though I enjoy those, too.) Quite simply, I couldn't put the darn thing down.

This story entangles Jack Culver with the Bullet Catchers (whom he used to work for before accidentally shooting one of them while on a mission gone awry) after pleading his case to Lucy Sharpe, the head of the Bullet Catchers with whom Jack had a one night stand. Still on tenuous ground with Lucy, Jack must fight his demons and earn her trust in order to obtain her help and eventually win her heart. With so many twists and turns in the gripping case and such a heartrending turned heartwarming relationship between the two, I couldn't help but cheer out loud. There was also an interesting theme of revenge verses justice and vigilantism that really made you think.

The perfect blend of suspense, intrigue and romance. Truly uplifting and absolutely wonderful!!!

4 stars – Romantic Suspense

..........“Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds”..........

Finally, we get the back story on the head of the Bullet Catchers, the enigmatic, cool as ice, Lucy Sharpe and a conclusion to the trilogy within the series that began with First You Run, escalated with Then You Hide, and of course, wrapped with this exciting finish in Now You Die.

Jack Culver is a sexy rogue Bullet Catcher, and he and Lucy’s chemistry and attraction is dynamic and off the charts explosive. Their romance scorches the pages...it’s smokin’ hot! I’ve been anxiously awaiting Lucy’s story since the beginning of the Bullet Catcher series, and it didn’t disappoint. It’s a great addition to the series, and I’m looking forward to Dan Gallagher’s story in Hunt Her Down set for release 8/25/09!

Complicated and intriguing plot with several suspicious characters. Good mystery and suspense. Weak on romance.

STORY BRIEF:
Higgie was a married attorney who had an affair with Eileen. As a result, she had triplet girls who were given up for adoption. Three years later Higgie had an affair with Wanda. He, Wanda and Eileen were in an alley when Wanda was shot, and Eileen drove away in fear. Someone planted a gun in her car and people on the take put her in jail for life. Twenty-four years later, Higgie is a Supreme Court Justice.

Jack is a private investigator who has been visiting Eileen in jail. She won’t tell anyone the truth of what happened in the alley because she fears that Higgie will kill anyone who helps her. Jack believes she is innocent and asks Lucy to help him find evidence to convict Higgie of the murder. Lucy runs the Bullet Catchers, a private investigation and security firm. Along the way, Lucy and Jack fall in love.

This is the third book in a trilogy. In the first two books, Bullet Catcher agents find and fall in love with two of Eileen’s daughters, Miranda and Vanessa. The third daughter Kristen has not yet been found as this story begins.

REVIEWER’S OPINION (WITH MILD SPOILERS):
Jack is the hero of the story with his maverick ways. Lucy is supposed to be smart and talented but her decisions and actions get in the way their success. She insists her team follow careful plans which end up not working. More than once, Jack is chasing and almost catches Kristen, but she gets away because of Lucy. In one case Lucy tells a team member to bring Jack back immediately which causes Jack to lose Kristen. More than once, Lucy is taken by surprise by a bad guy, nearly killed, and then saved by Jack at the last minute due to his instincts (not the plan).

The plot was complicated, well done and solved, with no loose ends which is good. To give it more stars, I would prefer more interesting character development and interaction. These characters were ok, but they didn’t make the book stand out from the (mysteries) pack. A romance existed but not much development. Jack and Lucy had a one-time connection from before. Since then Jack loved her but they were apart for reasons vague to me. Now working together, he still loves her but doesn’t tell her, because she is not ready to commit. Don’t read this for the romance, read it for the mystery and suspense.

OTHER BOOKS:
There are many Bullet Catcher books, and I did not realize that this was part of a trilogy (a subgroup within the larger group). I did not read the first two books of the trilogy which are FIRST YOU RUN and THEN YOU HIDE. Those are the stories of finding Eileen’s first two daughters Miranda and Vanessa. Other reviewers say the third book can be read as a stand alone, but I do not recommend it. I wanted to know more about why Jack was visiting Eileen so much and why he stayed away from Lucy (the woman he loved). I bought the third book to see if I liked the author. On hind sight, I would suggest reading FIRST YOU RUN first. Then if you like it, continue with the others

DATA:
Story length: 341 pages. Swearing language: strong. Sexual language: strong. Number of sex scenes: 5. Total number of sex scene pages: 15. Setting: current day South Carolina and nearby Kiawah Island, and New York. Copyright: 2008. Genre: romantic mystery suspense.

The final book in the trilogy.

Jack has pieced together most of Eileen's story and with the help of the tattoos on Miranda and Vanessa's necks (even though Vanessa's has been removed they can tell from the shape what it was) and Eileen's comments that "he" is all powerful, all-seeing etc, etc has determined that one of the US's highest ranked Judges is probably the girls' father.

Jack and Lucy clearly have some history although exactly what the history is not explained until later in the book. Dan certainly hates Jack, although that is because Jack accidentally shot him on a mission – an action which got him sacked from Bullet Catchers when it transpires that his trigger finger had been injured when a police officer which resulted in him being retired from service: something which he neglected to tell Bullet Catchers.

Can Jack persuade Lucy to help him bring down the Judge? Well of course he can otherwise there would be no story!

Jack is a bit like Vanessa in the previous book. He is all gung-ho action without planning whereas Lucy is more measured. She wants the truth and justice whereas Jack is more motivated by revenge.

I must say I didn't really feel the relationship between Jack and Lucy. They shared a night (off camera) together some undefined period of time earlier which they have both buried under the proverbial carpet. Did that trigger Jack's drinking? Or was it being kicked out of Bullet Catchers 10 days later (after shooting Dan)? Or had he been an alcoholic before then? I think we all knew the bare bones of Lucy's secret although we finally hear the whole story – but it's a throw-away (unless it was actually a short story/novella in a compilation which I haven't read – in which case the brief précis is sufficient). Did Jack always act that way to Lucy or has he changed since that night? Using innuendo to say what you really feel but make it a joke I understand but I don't understand why Jack had to manipulate and play power games – didn't he feel that Lucy respected him professionally?

Although the story was enjoyable and fast-paced, in retrospect it did seem a bit like a French farce with secret passageways (multiple), double-crosses, traitors, lost daughters, crazed killers and alligators. Maybe I'm getting my heroines confused after reading so many of these on the bounce but it felt like Lucy lost her phone about five times (well at least twice).

And she's back to her old tricks with the villains - and it wasn't a surprise.

My favourite in this series. I loved this book.

He’d almost lost her. And even though he’d never have her, he couldn’t live if she weren’t somewhere on the face of this earth.

I have been wanting to read Lucy’s book since the first book, and I was not disappointed. Learning about Lucy’s past and the reason for the singular white stripe in her all black hair was heartbreaking. She’s a woman who needs control over everything and anyone around her, and I loved how Jack broke down her defences and control. He was so very good at pushing all her buttons.

I adored Jack. I must admit in the beginning I couldn’t understand why he kept pushing at Lucy’s control, angry at her for it, but as you read more it became clear that he wanted her to lose control, just like he does around her. His feelings for her turns him inside-out, and the intensity of his love and lust for Lucy was breathtaking.

“I love you so much and so naturally, it’s like breathing or eating or wanting to be in the sun. I love your strength and your beauty and your soul and your wicked need for control.”

This book was absolutely wonderful. The chemistry between the main characters was intense, and their romance and HEA fantastic. The suspense and action was great and it was very interesting to find out after 4 books who the mastermind was behind the the incarceration of Eileen.

A fantastic romantic suspense.

Now You Die, the long awaited and much anticipated final book of the Bullet Catcher Trilogy, recently found its way into my hot little hands and didn’t leave them until I turned the last page. Now You Die is a non-stop thrill ride of mayhem that leaves you breathless. All I can say is that Roxanne St. Claire has done it again and better than ever!

Anyone who has read any of the Bullet Catchers books will have been waiting for Lucy’s story. Most of us didn’t think it would be with Jack but hey that’s just how things work out sometimes. If you ask me I think they are the perfect pair. Though I have to say one Bullet Catcher is hotter than the next and each has that one thing that is totally endearing.

Finishing up the three part story, Now You Die can definitely stand alone, giving you enough back story to bring you up to speed and help you navigate the treacherous waves of a 30 year old murder.

Ms. St. Claire weaves so many twists and turns into this one it is impossible to figure out -- just how romantic suspense should be. Now You Die combines knife edged tension, scorching hot love scenes and sends you hurtling off a cliff smack into a conclusion that no one could possibly guess. Yup you’ve got it all here…can’t ask for anything more, all that’s left to say is WOW!

This book wrapped up the trilogy that involved the last three books: 1. "First you Run" 2. "Then you Hide" 3. "Now you Die" in the Bullet Catcher Series. It tied up all the loose ends and this trilogy must be read in order. If you haven't read any of the Bullet Catcher books, you "could" pick up this trilogy and begin. Then decide if you want to read the earlier books in the series...

I enjoyed this one and it involved the director of the Bullet Catchers, Lucy Sharpe. Finally! This one answers questions of her past, the streak of white in her otherwise all black hair, etc. There was a lot of bickering between the two main characters, Jack and Lucy, and for me, that's a turnoff. However, they resolved their differences and the story began to move along.

The suspense was okay, but I must admit I figured out where it was headed long before it got there. :-(

The way the book ends, Dan Gallagher must be next in line for his story...that should be a good one.

I would give this one 3 1/2 stars, but rounded up.

I have to say I was a little disappointed with this book. It took me a while to get into this book; I actually set it down and read several other books before continuing on with this one. In the beginning the main characters annoyed me with their bickering and distrust of each other.

However after the book got going (towards the middle) I actually started to enjoy it. There still wasn't enough trust between Lucy and Jake though.

Lucy Sharpe finally gets her book and we learn about her dark, secretive past. She was an okay heroine but I didn't feel any connection to her.

Jack Culver is a former Bullet Catcher and is now working as a PI. The last two books have been based around his investigation of a thirty year old murder case. With Lucy's help and the help of the rest of the Bullet Catchers, they may just solve this case.

Loved this one. Mostly because I love Jack. I went into this book loving Jack and tolerating Lucy. Now that I'm done I like Lucy a bit more, but still love Jack more. But if Lucy is what Jack needs to make him happy then I'm all for it. If you haven't read any other Bullet Catcher books you'll have no idea what I'm talking about. But trust me, okay? This is good stuff. But at least read FIRST YOU RUN and THEN YOU HIDE before this one. The last two Bullet Catchers work as stand alones, but these three should be read together.

As the third book of a trilogy within a series, I really enjoyed it. The pace was fast, the romance was hot and the mystery resolved in a way that I wasn't expecting, but found totally believable.

Eileen has been in prison for 30 years for a murder she didn't commit. Jack Culver has been her "Angel" and has taken it upon himself to find her triplet daughters who were given up for black market adoption and to find the real killer. Jack was fired as a Bullet Catcher but Lucy has a soft spot for him as he is the only man to find a way behind her defenses and she has agreed to help him on this quest. Two of the girls have been found and have also gotten their HEAs with Bullet Catcher guys. The third daughter appears to have been killed in a hit and run accident.

Jack is pretty sure he knows who the real killer is. Now all he needs is the proof. Lucy is a bit skeptical, to say the least, but helps Jack try to prove his case. These two have a history and a real strong attraction for each other. It seems that the plan kept getting changed and that both Jack and Lucy were, at times, working at cross purposes. There are several surprises in store.

Wow! I loved this Bullet Catcher and that's saying a lot. I've been buying each installment faithfully even though they were somehow missing something every time. I didn't even get past 3 chapters of Adrien Fletcher's book, First You Run, I think, because his Aussie-speak was overdone and unreal. Having lived in Australia for several years, I'd never heard ANY urban Aussie speak that way unless they'd lived their lives in a sheep station. That picture just didn't fit with a Bullet Catcher. Wade's book, the second in the trilogy, was much better yet even then I wasn't convinced I should read Lucy's story until someone told me she's in her 30s, not her 50s as I'd thought all along.

Lucy's and Jack's story was everything I could want a romantic suspense to be. Thrilling and suspenseful, I was as eager for the next page to develop the plot as for Jack's and Luce's relationship. And the author delivered.

I immediately checked out St Claire's website and read about how Lucy ended up with Jack instead of Dan (whose book comes next).

The last in a trilogy, and this one wraps up most of the mystery and questions left over from Books 1 & 2.

It seemed to me that there were a couple/few abrupt scene changes in this one, which made me go back a page to see whether I missed something or had pages stuck together. Overall, though, I was glad to get the boss's story: I've been wondering what made Lucy so controlling and insulated from her team, even though she worked 24/7.

Jack was a bit more of a revelation in this book, as well. His interactions with Eileen were revelations of his unshielded nature -- what a difference that made.

The candidates for villain were -- none of them -- model citizens. Scraping the bottom of the barrel was the end parts of the story. Again, here, there were places that needed another good paragraph or two to satisfy my character curiosity.

I plan to read the next book in the Bullet Catchers story: perhaps Dan will return?

The excitement continues in this third book about the triplets who were separated at birth after their unwed mother bore them and gave them away to what she believed would be a better life than she could give them- but had them tattooed with the fathers name under the base of their hairlines. Then she was falsely accused of murder and forced to plead guilty to protect her girls. Thirty years later, she is dying form leukemia, and asks PI Jack Culver to find her girls. In the previous two books, 2 of the girls were found, one a match for a bone marrow transplant to save their mother. In this third book, the third sister is thought to have been recently killed in a hit and run, but nothing is as it seems. While Lucy and Jack race to get the answers they need to free Eileen, they find misdirection, danger, betrayal- and renewed passion between them. A page turner.

OH MY GOSH. The hits just keep coming for Juicy Lucy and her band of Bullet Catchers. So many opportunities for them to die. Why did it all come down at the end? I loved Lucy and Jack’s story. Damn Dan anyway. What a sore loser.

The story was really good but the sea scenes were so graphic it was disgusting. I really don’t need to know how deep his tongue was able to go. There was a twist I didn’t foresee so that was a nice surprise but almost stopped reading after the second sex scene.

DANG!! My first St. Claire book, and I am floored. I realize I accidentally grabbed the last book in a series while at the library and it turns out they have none of the others. But this worked as a stand alone.
Jack and Lucy has me swooning and the suspense was high stakes. It was perfect!
