Kristen Carpenter is alive! Surprise or expected? If expected, what made you think she'd survived?

[Anita]

Expected. Well, I though (probably like everyone) that Daddy Dearest was the baddie. Should have known that was way to obvious. I thought in the last book that she had been targeted when we found out she was "dead". I just believed she survived the accident and disappeared.

[Lauren]

Wasn't surprised. I knew she couldn't be dead because that would weaken the story arc.

Very much expected. I knew she couldn't have been just killed off in a sentence.

I never even thought about the possibility of her being alive until someone mentioned it in the discussion for the last book. I should have figured that one out.
