1. Zymmun (Karris and the real Gavin's son) really did stab Gavin/Dazen with the Blinding Knife but as it wasn't for a long period of time it took away his blue drafting ability.
2. General Danivis knew about Kip and that's why he stayed in Rekton but my question is how did he know that Kip was Gavin's bastard but Gavin/Dazen didn't?

If he stayed for kip then I would think he must have had spies in Gavin's camp and figured it out
If he was already living in Rekton then maybe he put the facts together from hearing Lina and the people in the village talking

For a book called 'Lightbringer' it doens't talk much about the lightbringer. We know nothing. what do you guys think?

The 'Lightbringer' is mentioned a little more in the 2nd book but I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't read/re-read the book but I believe that Kip is the lightbringer and I hope that BW expands on who/what this person is and what their purpose will be.
I have a lot more question now that I've re-read both books but I will post them on the thread for Blinding Knife.

In BK Kip is being pointed out to being the lightbringer (alot), but we still don't know much about it. What should it mean?

The setting is interesting, but I don't think it is the main element, since more time is spend describing other things.
There is no big idea or question, no mystery to be solved.
I think the last two, characters and a big event, are where the focus is. Most of the words are put to developing the main characters, and the world is being revolutionized by a big event.

It highlights how hard life decisions can be and how different people face different situations. Also I think the setting is very important to the plot. The whole purpose of the prism is essentially to look after the satrapies. If they stopped fighting he would be irrelevant and have very little power ( politically )
The destruction of tyrea has also led to the rise of the colour prince and also affected the lives of some characters which in turn affects their decisions within their world
That's my view anyway :)

Why does Dazen (the older brother) need to a yellow source to draft yellow?
If the blue light wasn't a perfect blue, couldn't he just split it? I remember the discussion went somewhere along the lines of "maybe you need to have a perfect white light source to split light" but really, it wasn't conclusive.
Regarding the lightbringer, I really, really hope that Kip is the lightbringer, but this is Brent Weeks we're talking about. Kip? The Lightbringer? A little too obvious, no? I have a bad feeling it's going to turn out to be Zymun or someone just as unlikely. I guess the bottom line is that as long as we don't get another deus ex machina like Logan's tattoo in NAT, I'm fine with anyone being the Lightbringer. In fact, I'm fine even if there is no lightbringer. Meh.
Also, I forgot how much I liked High Luxlord Black. Hope we see more of that guy, though I guess that's highly unlikely.

Please try and keep the conversation free of spoilers from the upcoming chapters and novels. Thank you!
