ABANDONED. Fantasy/ Sci-FI about teens finding new super powers

it's a book series. I don't remember exactly how many books there were. Basically in each book there's a teen that discovers their superpower for instance; a girl having the ability to stay under water for a long period and also a boy producing electricity from his hands or something.
They were all connected somehow. there was also this guy ( from a secret organization i think) who was trying to kill or kidnap those teens.

I don't think that's the one. As far as i know they were normal teens before; their abilities just randomly appeared.

Kelley Armstrong's Darkness Rising series

Lost of teens have superpowers. I think I remember another character being able to shock people unconscious so that might be the electricity thing you're thinking of. They are being hunted by a big corporation that does experiments on people
