Frederick Finch | 102 comments Hi all!
First, I don't know am I posting this into the right folder, so apologies in advance if not.
My debut novel is coming out on 15 September and I'm trying to get as much as it is possible neutral opinions. These are not reviews since I'm only asking if anyone is willing to take a try on my prologue and first few chapters, 15-20 pages top. The purpose is for the last-minute facelifting. I need an honest word of the style, is the premise of the novel catchy or not, would it be something that you'd like to read... that kind of stuff.

It's a genre blender, what seems as a sci-fi turnes into the mystery-thriller with history and religious conspiracy elements, set in three different eras. Main story is set in 2012 and it shifts into the past and to the future. Many attractive and historical locales included. Might be portrayed as sci-fi Dan Brown, but I wouldn't dare making such parallels :)

If there're some of you who would be so kind and invest some of your precious time I'll be more than happy sending you the material.
Thanks!!!

Rowan Coleman (rowanjcoleman) | 6 comments Wow, sound fascinating. I'd be up for a gander :) Also well done in getting it finished. I myself just spent 5 years writing mine, ugh. Great that you're getting your work out there :)

Frederick Finch | 102 comments Thanks Rowan!
I started writing this one nine years ago, and - voila! - it's finished :)
If you like I'll send a sample to your email.

Douglas Phillips | 3 comments I'd be happy to take a look. Sounds like a similar style to my book (Quantum Space).

Zoltán (witchhunter) | 267 comments You actually need beta readers! :)

I'm also into blending some of the subjects you mentioned. I've also done several reviews meant for the authors only. I can give it a go.

Frederick Finch | 102 comments To Douglas and Zoltan:

Thanks guys for interest!
As a matter of fact, I had beta readers but it turns into the last-minute changes and now i need an insight for I've tumbled the few chapters around. As it is, the book had lived through changes just month before the publishing and I really don't want postponing it again.
I'll contact you via message and if you are still willing give it a try I'll send you a sample.
Thanks one more time!
