Syl suggested me. The best thing about the book is how incredibly South Indian the book is. The way a middle class family living in a part of South India is portrayed is just awesome. Nothing to take away from the actual plot though. The characters, the situations, and the setting looks so real, it's unnerving in a way. I don't know whether you will love it, but I'm sure you'll like it.

Hi Shoa... Ghachar Ghochar only. I read it when it.had just released and wasn't this well known. I read it in English. Don't know Kannada (Not sure whether the original language it was written in is Kannada or marathi)
