Hey guys! I've been asked a couple of times how exactly this group buddy read is going to work.
So, there are two ways that we can approach this: (a) following a set schedule and reading x amount of pages each week, or (b) reading at your own pace. There are merits to both, so that's what we're going to do: both. Or rather, whichever you prefer.
There are 5 volumes, at roughly 300 pages each. Should you choose to follow the schedule, we've decided to set it at a volume a week. Which means:
September 1 - 8: VOLUME 1 September 9 - 16: VOLUME 2 September 17 - 24: VOLUME 3 September 25 - October 2: VOLUME 4 October 3 - 10: EPILOGUE
If you decide to read at your own pace, whether it's faster or slower than the outline we've proposed, go for it! What we're going to do is set up a discussion thread for each volume that you can post in once you've finished each one - that way we don't need to worry about spoilers by just having one massive thread for the whole book. This way you can touch base and let us know your thoughts on each volume whenever you happen to finish.
If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment. Also let us know if you're going to use a schedule other than the one we've proposed!
