Della | 62 comments i dont watch degrassi. whats it about?
i mean ive seen it once with my friends.
the episode was something about i think this girl named Paige and she was dating two guys...
hmmm idk.

message 53: by ♥Jenny♥ (new)

♥Jenny♥ hmmm, i dont recall. and the show is about a LOT of things. it's a drama show. mmm, i love it. you should watch it if you like secrets, lies, and relationships.

message 54: by [deleted user] (new)

Was there an episode in Degrassi, where two of the girls start working out like crazy, and cut-out pictures of girls in magazines, but they end up in the trash anyway. And they are all asked to dinner which is Pizza. So one of them excuses herself and goes to the bathroom to vomit it out?

In short. Is there an anerexia/bullemic episode? Cause if there was, I might have seen Degrassi before.

message 55: by ♥Jenny♥ (last edited Aug 08, 2009 11:18PM) (new)

message 56: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes, I think so.

message 57: by ♥Jenny♥ (new)

♥Jenny♥ and did they call the one that threw up Emma? and did she have a bf with blonde hair?

message 58: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't remember that much, it must have been a few minutes of a show, about four years ago.

message 59: by ♥Jenny♥ (new)

message 72: by Katie (new)

Katie PLAGORISM!!!

message 73: by [deleted user] (new)

What about it?

message 74: by Katie (new)

Katie I don't think so...she's Stephenie Meyer! Yeah, there's tons of vampire books but......

message 75: by [deleted user] (new)

Me neither, she has no need to do that. She's already a New York Times bestselling author.

message 76: by Cassidy (new)

Cassidy Savage (savagegy6) The show for Vampire Diaries is not like the books at all really, not only is Elena suppose to be blonde with amazing blue eyes...they don't both keep a diary and Stephan avoids her like the plaque for a while. They don't happily come together and Elena is a self centered rich brat in the books. I hated the books so I bet the show will be better if they make the characters like-able at all! :) Just my opinion.

True Blood is a great show, you have to watch all the shows to get it or it doesn't seem very good. Plus I've read all the books and seen all the shows, I'm addicted to both, it's an amazing show. :)

message 77: by Della (new)

Della | 62 comments yaaay! *high five*!

See I have been avoiding the books (True Blood) because I really didn't like the show at all! Everyone I have talked to says the books are way better.

message 82: by ♥Jenny♥ (new)

♥Jenny♥ Ah. well im not gonna read the books or watch the show. I'm trying to get off of the whole, vampire thing for a little while so...but im still gonna see New Moon.

message 83: by Stephanie, Loves Vamps and Werewolves but Zombies scare me!! (new)

♥Jenny♥ I'm not going to.

message 88: by [deleted user] (new)

Cassidy wrote: "I hated the books so I bet the show will be better if they make the characters like-able at all!"

Yes, they aren't going to hire the original author (not that they usually do anyway) so the story lines are going to be written by someone else.

And from what I've seen, some show and movie script writers are better at telling a story than published authors.

Stephanie wrote: "Yeah I'm taking a break from the whole vamp theme to..."

Really? Reading Twilight I kind of got a thirst for vampires. Although, I prefer original Vampires. They need a kryptonite, like sunlight or holy water.

message 89: by Tiffany (new)

Tiffany (lovn_mr_darcy) | 46 comments I like the vamps off Underworld

message 90: by Katie (new)

Katie | 19 comments For one, Stephenie Meyer did an early version of Breaking Dawn in the early 2000's. That was the second book. And they keep pulling parts out and different things. Like the pregnant part. It was Jacob dreaming of her round with his but really she looked horrible. And Bella had those weird nightmares since book 1. I think its bullshit and someone trying to get money all the sudden since Stephenie is a smash author. I'd say the fans know whats real, Stephenie knows what real and shit. LOTS of marriages have lavender and they say as long as we both shall live. I guess Kendra Wilkinson is plagiarizing on her show because she had lavender and their minister said "as long as we both shall live". It's all false.

message 91: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (wildcherry) I have heard that TrueBlood is pretty raunchey and very adult. not that it is a problem but I couldn't get past the second chapter in the first book so i doubt i will watch the show. I think I might check out the vampire diaries. I don't like the vampire books that just get reptative. I'm reading the Vampire Academy series right now and I'd be interested to see how that would turn out if they made it a movie or tv show. I like this book because it isn't the same old story. My personal opinion is i would love to see the Twilight series continue!!

message 92: by [deleted user] (new)

Katie wrote: "LOTS of marriages have lavender and they say as long as we both shall live."

Did you read my detailed analysis or did you check the cease and desist letter on your own? Because you have it right, Katie. I agree...Maybe they will sue Kendra...

Stephanie wrote: "My personal opinion is i would love to see the Twilight series continue!!"

A girl can dream, right? I would settle for at least a different ending for Breaking Dawn, one that is less sketchy and unresolved.

message 93: by ♥Jenny♥ (new)

♥Jenny♥ Melzz wrote: "A girl can dream, right? I would settle for at least a different ending for Breaking Dawn, one that is less sketchy and unresolved."

You already know that I agree with that. ^^^

message 94: by Katie (last edited Aug 11, 2009 08:43PM) (new)

Katie | 19 comments Yeah I read the whole "analysis" and this author is stupid. Stephenie did her own thing. Yeah, plots can all be similar. Like the book evermore. She has mind reading powers and can read auras but she tries to silence it. Doesnt want to be a "freak". And then a new guy comes, and she can't hear him. Sounds similar to Twilight, but their not even vampires and its backwards, so theres a similar plot. Is Stephenie suing her?? No. She's a real author. I have read the True Blood series (The Sookie Stackhouse Collection) and watched the show. Like the first book Dead Until Dark (True Blood) came out in 2001 and Twilight was inspired in 2003. Is Charlaine Harris suing Stephenie Meyer? No. Because SIMILAR PLOTS. With Dead Until Dark, the main character is a mind reader but can't read the mind of the vampire she falls in love with and the guy that's been in love with her is a shape-shifter. I don't even think Meyer would read those books, because I mean their great, but she's retrains against certain things that books portrays alot of. She don't drink, do drugs or watch bad movies. If nobody stemmed ideas from other people and adapted them to their own, we'd have nothing. I guess who ever made the second car copied the guy who made the first. You know what I mean? It's all BS.

message 95: by [deleted user] (new)

I agree, Katie. Like what GreenDaisy said "General Plotelines".

Nightshade Cassidy wrote: "Has anyone read the documents that show side by side the sections of each book this author things is similar? If not here is the link http://www.aolcdn.com/tmz_documents/0......"

In regards to the fifth part of the 'detailed' descriptions in that letter...

Oh, wow. Not every marriage has those lines, you know. I mean, really- wow. Stephenie Meyer completely stole the lines that have been RECITED AT EVERY SINGLE WEDDING SINCE THE BEGINNING OF TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

message 97: by [deleted user] (new)

OMG I KNOW ITS CRAZY!!!!!

Hehe :D

message 98: by Mellady77 (new)

Mellady77 Stibich | 1149 comments I used them in my wedding in 2004, which is before she wrote Breaking Dawn so I'm suing!!!!

message 99: by [deleted user] (new)
