Book about an Apocalyptic event they flee on bicycles

I am looking for the 1st book in a series but i can't remember names or title


i listened to a post-apocalyptic book about a man and a woman leave the city on bicycles (i think after an E.M.P)
To get to a farm the male character has a home on his friends land. i can't remember any character names but at the end of the book the farm is blown up and only the original 2 people are left and a boy who they made hid in a hidden cabin they built for Emergencies.

I have searched on google. gone through all my audiobooks but cant find it

I am not for sure if this is the one, but it is called "The Last Light". Father and daughter have to ride home on a bike, but the bike was stolen from them. The families in their neighborhood come together to help survive the EMP. It is about a 4 or 5 book series.

Last year some time. it was the first book in the series.

It wasn't this one sadly (though i might get it now thanks) i have just remembered it was a man ans a woman who lived in the downstairs apartment. i remember now his live in girlfriend blamed it all on him and walked out. (it's amazing how things trigger other memories) but no names come to mind

no zombies. and sadly not that book (but it looks good another for me to read)
i am trying to think hard of the plot without getting it mixed up with other books. if it helps they are leaving there apartments where they live and going to a man and woman's farm.

a woman and her her son are added to the plot a while after they arrive. and a males ( good guys) are added later as well . At the end they are overrun by i think gangs and the farm house is blown up with something

I honestly can't think of anymore

Survivors has a man cycling across most of Europe to get to the USA (obviously by boat or something in between). He's heading for his family's farm. They are preppers and have some sort of secondary shelter, I think. There's some sort of fight at the farm, but I'm fairly sure most of them, if not all, survive the attack by the 'bad' guys.
