If I post it there will someone there take care of the extra work, or shall I post it there and then repost back here that there is extra work to be done?
When you post it there, whoever does the merge will usually take a look at it, but in this case, where the books are renamed and in multiple languages, there's probably a lot more work to do. A great many of the descriptions need work too, they have promo stuff in, "free on kindle unlimited" and publishing dates in that all need removing.
I did clean up quite a lot of things, and I'll probably do some more tomorrow, but help would be appreciated - I left librarian notes with main character names on a lot of books, it's easier that way trying to figure out combining titles in different languages.

just judging by the titles of the books on the second profile, which seems to be a shortened version of the author name. However, merging the profiles would not be enough, as there is a lot of combining to be done as it seems a lot of the books already exist. Some of the titles have capitalization issues and seem to belong to series as well.
Just judging from the looks of the titles and the language it seems a lot of corrections for the languages is needed as well, as they seem to be not in English.
On the profile with the shortened name, there seem to be some books written with a second author, maybe that is a profile with a shortened name issue as well, but I haven't checked. https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...
What I spotted however is that this author profile https://www.goodreads.com/author/show... seem to belong to the both of them which would need corrections as well.
