Book missing from my series- please add

For future reference, this never happens automatically. But as you see, a post in this group will get books added to a series pretty quickly.

Excellent, thanks very much! It seems somewhat strange that you can add a series name (that matches the other books in the series) when setting up the book, but that it wouldn't get added to the series automatically. But I guess it is what it is! I'll stop by here whenever I add a new book to one of my series. Thanks!

Since series can have books from more than one author and series names are often not unique, an automated process would be fraught with errors.

I'd say it would be unlikely you would ever have a series name AND author name that were the same for two separate publications. That would be a crazy coincidence. I mean, I've never even seen two authors with the same name have the same book title. So I must respectfully disagree.

I'd say Rivka was referring to multi authors within the same series, which happens quite a bit in the paranormal / romance genres.

I guess so, but somehow Amazon has an automated process to manage it. In any case, my problem is solved and I'll just post whenever I release a new book.
