Adam Thielen | 4 comments I'm working on the third novel of a series, and have done preliminary proofreading, but need fresh eyes that can spot overused words and phrases, missing words, or any other obvious problems or mistakes. I've only lost money trying to promote the series, so I can't afford services yet, but can provide a credit in the first pages of the book. Let me know if interested and check out the blurb below (still a bit rough too).

A rising star of the New Republic Intelligence Agency, Tsenka Cho is brutally attacked and left for dead after attempting to extract a high value defector from a secretive mega-corporation in East Asia. She is left traumatized, scarred, and broken.

Searching for a way to make herself whole again, she seeks help from the Agency's lead analyst and legendary neuro-hacker, Kate Jones. But helping Tsenka is not as easy as it sounds as Kate's own life is a mess.

Living with her is Drew, an artificial intelligence with a crystalline brain who scours the dreamscape for corruption and toils to create a suitable host body. Hoping to impress and protect Kate, the robot offers to assist Tsenka in her task.

Together, they seek out Desre Somer, a psionic mage capable of reading and directing the minds of others. She has been the prisoner of the Chantech corporation for almost half her life and simply wants to be free, but Kate and Tsenka have other plans for her.

Pivotal is a story about culture, identity, shame, and revenge in a world that is trying to wean itself off of corporate rule. And in the mainland of former China, Tsenka must face her worst fears, rediscover herself, and fulfill her destiny.

The length is approx 110k words, contains violence, sex, cursing, etc.

Adam Thielen | 4 comments Forgot to mention, the second book is free on Amazon until Aug 1, and works as a standalone apart from book 1, and provides some good info on book 3's characters if interested: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01I8EZ42S

Ella | 2 comments I am interested in your offer, however would the 1rst and 2nd book need to be read to understand the third?

It's not essential. There are a few things from book 2 that are referenced in book 3, but everything you need to know has at least a TLDR type of blurb.

Send me a message with your email and I can send you the doc.

For anyone else wondering, there's room for a few betas/editors/proofreaders.

Kiri Fiona (kirifiona) Hi Adam - I'd really like to help you with editing and proofreading, if you still have room for one more?
