I think its pretty cool like how in the beginning of each chapter she lists a phobia.

Okay, I'm up to page 62, I haven't been doing much reading. (view spoiler)[ This is reminding me of a well-written Twilight. The mysterious characters that just aren't right, the new girl in the small town who falls for a mysterious character. Issie is pretty much Alice, and Devyn is Jasper. But I'm finding the phobias interesting, and I want to see exactly how the supernatural stuff is going to happen (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I kinda like the main character Zara. I especially like the side characters like Devyn and Issie. It really obvious who the love interest is going to be. I don't really like Ian though, he seems like a nice guy so far but I don't know I'm not feeling it/him. (hide spoiler)]

It's okay I haven't been reading that much of it either because I've been busy with school and stuff.

Page 140. (view spoiler)[ I just can't decide if I like Nick or Ian. They both seem kind of creepy. And I want to know what they're really like, but at the same time I don't want her to spend more time with them. I think the aim is for us to fall in love with them, take "teams" and all that. But right now, I like Devyn and Issie. That's all (hide spoiler)]

Page 166. I know I just did an update, but I just have to say (view spoiler)[ it is SO OBVIOUS that Nick is the werewolf with Zara. You were right about Betty, she knows. She just made all those very unsubtle hints, and I don't know if Zara has worked it out or not. Well, I have, so Im happy I know what's up with him now. Yet another similarity to Twilight... Page 183. (view spoiler)[ Oh, there it is! Betty's a were tiger! That's cool, that's not what I was expecting. I'm happy now, it's being a creative book! And Nick is becoming nicer, but I still don't trust him, or love him (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[So Betty's a a were tiger and Nicks a werewolf. That is kinda cool. Plus they can change at will...double cool. Zara and Nick's banter is cute. At times they can be funny. (hide spoiler)]

I finished the book!!! :)

(view spoiler)[At times Zara can be pretty annoying. But overall she was an okay main character. It turns out there was a good reason to hate Ian...Meghan too now though. They were pixies the whole time. It was a little surprising because I thought that it was the guy in the woods the whole time. And its even more surprising when you find out the guy in the woods is her biological DAD!!! (hide spoiler)]

Page 224 (view spoiler)[ Well that's what's up with Devyn!! He's a were eagle!! Were-bunny, that's a cute idea :P And it would absolutely suit her too. And Megan, I forgot how horrible she was, I didn't connect her to the supernatural stuff. So that was a cool twist. And Zara actually thought of a good plan! Oh, she's come so far! (hide spoiler)]

So I kind of binged-listened to this audiobook this morning since it was a short one. So I’m going to do my comments now. I know it’s 7 days early but I hope that’s okay!

So.... I finished the audiobook. It really was quick to listen at 2.0x speed. It was an okay book for me. I kinda liked it but the (view spoiler)[‘faerie’ element to it wasn’t great. I’ve read Cruel prince about faes and thought it was amazing so this was a little disappointing. (hide spoiler)] I’ll know I’ll forget easily this book :(. I’m not going to read the rest of the series.
