Good source for J.D. Salinger's biography?

After reading many discussions about Salinger, I get more and more curious about him. Can anyone please recommend some good sources? I don't want to just google it because the results may not be accurate.

A couple have come out recently. Just Googe: "Salinger biography," then read the review on Amazon or Goodreads.

American Masters on PBS produced a documentary on Salinger. That was about as much as I cared to know about him, a pretty repulsive personaluty.
