Y'all. This book takes you through the weird, unique history of a small Texas border town and its esteemed Sheriff's Department. The entire thing is a mystery where each chapter adds another clue or roadblock, but you'll be trying to figure out the truth the entire time. It's edgy, confusing, challenging, very dark, and sometimes heartbreaking, but it definitely does not disappoint. The twists and turns alone will keep you up at night, but other surprises could as well. GET READY FOR AN ADVENTURE.
