Rebecca ❤ Bea ❤ | 50 comments why is she making you drink it?

message 102: by [deleted user] (new)

Aloe Vera is better to put on sun-burnt skin, I wouldn't drink it though.

Because she thinks that there's stuff wrong with my body that I'm to tired to list. But she thinks that the Aloe vera will help me out.

Rebecca ❤ Bea ❤ | 50 comments oh did you get burnt then?
I'm drinking loads of skinny water at the mo, the grapefruit one tastes like lemonade...yum!

Yeah. I mean, at first it smelled kinda like Sprite, but now it makes my stomach turn.

Rebecca ❤ Bea ❤ | 50 comments poor you.
I stole some gin at the cuboard earlier and it made me feel sick, I only had a sip but its so disgusting.

Like I said, great for the skin, but I'm not sure how it would help for anything else. I guess I'll just have to look it up.

Rebecca ❤ Bea ❤ | 50 comments well hopefully it will help

Mellady77 Stibich | 1149 comments When you start to give Santa a run for his money it's more like "awww mannnnn!" Swiper style.

Sorry I have a 4 year old and that phrase is stuck in my head.

message 115: by [deleted user] (new)

I get phrases stuck in my head monthly. This month it's wowzer. I know....It scares me, too...

I definitely don't think Nikki was the best choice to play Rose!! First of all she should have been a natural blond I mean her hair is so dark naturally that it just bad it look like she had a bad bleach job in the first movie...now a wig which I am just praying is ten times better then that horrible rats nest they put on Taylor's beautiful head in the last film!!!! And now with the bleaching her skin crap!!! That's just way to much!!

message 118: by [deleted user] (new)

Watcha gonna do? *Shrugs* At least she cares about portraying her character correctly. Something Kristen doesn't do.

Did you know that Kristen tried to change Bella on purpose? She said she tried to make Bella "tough" and she didn't want to portray her as too "dough-eyed". Which is kinda how Bella is if you think about it...I mean, I've never thought her "tough".

message 119: by [deleted user] (new)

I think portraying the character correctly beats looks anyday. Kristen has the looks down, but she's not willing to play Bella the right way. I wouldn't mind seeing a different Bella for the next few movies.

Mellady77 Stibich | 1149 comments Verra true

message 122: by [deleted user] (new)

I also hope they wouldn't freak... Although, I'd be content with someone who actually cares about the series.

message 123: by ♥Jenny♥ (new)

♥Jenny♥ Ugh, as I've stated before, I don't like Kristen Stewart. She tried to "change" Bella? Why? Just... whatever.

message 124: by Katie (new)

Katie i have NO idea currently. Maybe when I see the movie.

message 125: by Mack (new)

Mack (kay082195) I CAN NOT WAIT FOR NEW MOON IT IS GOING TO BE THE BOMB.COM IT LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER THAN TWILIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GO TEAM JACOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

message 126: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah, I think it's going to be better.

message 127: by Katie (new)

Katie It is hard for me to tell. New Moon looks so cool, but because I haven't seen it, it looks new. So after all of the movies, I should look at this again.

Rebecca ❤ Bea ❤ | 50 comments I think Nikki was a great Rose acting wise but she didn't look the part and looks are an important part for that character. I saw that interview with Kristen where she said she wanted to make Bella tough, but what i don't get is how she thinks what she diid in twilight was in any way tough. I think Bella is tougher in the book.

message 129: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't think Bella is tough at all.

Rebecca ❤ Bea ❤ | 50 comments book or film or both?

message 131: by [deleted user] (new)

Book. In the film, Kristen had an unromantic "don't mess with me" look. In the book Bella is always being saved by the guys in her life. She's always getting in situations, and acting non-brave. The one time when she was going to do something for someone else. Was in Eclipse when she was going to imitate the Wanderer. And she chickened out, all she could do was hold the peice to her wrist, and stand still. She didn't actually do anything.

Rebecca ❤ Bea ❤ | 50 comments I kinda agree, but Kristen is just so jittery

message 133: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah, Kristen is jittery.

Rebecca ❤ Bea ❤ | 50 comments it so annoying, I just want to slap her sometimes.

message 135: by Katie (new)

Katie Melzz wrote: "I don't think Bella is tough at all."

Me either. She seems so bored and dull sometimes!

message 136: by Mellady77 (new)

Mellady77 Stibich | 1149 comments Melzz wrote: "I don't think Bella is tough at all."

See I disagree, I do think Bella is tough. In my opinion she is a strong character because she's brave and caring. Being a caring person should not make a character weak. She puts everyone else's happiness above her own (until she meets Edward then she starts to do some things for herself). She was tough enough to care for her mother and tough enough to make the decision to move in with her father so her mother could be happy. I did see her personality getting stronger as the series progressed. Being physically strong doesn't always count for character strength.

message 137: by [deleted user] (new)

I wasn't talking about her being physically strong. She was a martyr that's not the same as being caring. She opened her window to Edward, when he was acting psycho enough to rip out her car part. She said it herself she wasn't "strong enough to be away from him" even for one night. The only selfless thing she's ever done was move in with her father. And she didn't "take care" of her mother. Her mother could clothe, and bathe, and provide for herself. Maybe emotionally Bella was a little deprived from her mother. But living with that doesn't make you "strong". Millions of children have to deal with that, and worse.

message 138: by Mellady77 (new)

Mellady77 Stibich | 1149 comments But I think you can either get stronger form those situations or you can crumble. AND, Joan of Arc was a martyr and she is considered very strong.

message 139: by [deleted user] (new)

Bella is not Joan of Arc. Joan of Arc is a major figure, Bella is just...Bella. She doesn't have a trip to save lives of countless people to excuse her martyr-ness.

I didn't mind that Bella was kind of a wine bag in the book but the way Kristen portrayed her was not how I pictured her at all!! What the heck was with all the open mouth blank looks...I just kept waiting for DUH to flash in a little bubble above her head!!

Joan of Arc saved thousands because she followed the voices in her head that she swore were God and angels and then because she followed those voices she was burned for a heretic!! I don't think Bella is on that level...but when I think about it she was willing to die to save her family and the ones she loved....

message 141: by [deleted user] (new)

Actually, in Breaking Dawn. She was willing to sacrifice not only herself, but all of the cullens. For ONE person. Renesmee.

message 142: by Stephanie, Loves Vamps and Werewolves but Zombies scare me!! (new)

Stephanie | 4175 comments Mod
That is true but as a mother I can tell you the choice is one I would never want to make...

message 143: by [deleted user] (new)

Alright.

Anyway, I agree with you on Kristens faces. You can take stills of the movie, and you'll find tons of those vacant stares.

message 144: by Stephanie, Loves Vamps and Werewolves but Zombies scare me!! (new)

Stephanie | 4175 comments Mod
I hated that part...I mean while Bella was far from my favorite character already Kristen made me dislike her sooooo much more!!!

message 145: by [deleted user] (new)

Exibit A

message 146: by Mellady77 (new)

Mellady77 Stibich | 1149 comments I do hated Kristen's cross eyed stares too.

message 147: by [deleted user] (new)

I really just wish she got some lessons or something. Surely the first thing the teach you is how to move your face.

message 148: by Mellady77 (new)

Mellady77 Stibich | 1149 comments ♥BookGeek♥ wrote: "I agree with you Melladay, although I agree, she is no Joan of Arch. Okay, she gets saved by guys all the time so what? She has a strong personality, and a caring soul that can be stronger than Jam..."

Well except for the initial car accident she is an average human getting rescued by superman people from superhuman people. It's just that a majority of them are guys. Leah & Rose do it begrudgingly and Alice sticks up for her too. Her best friend and love interests just happen to be guys...all I'm saying.

message 149: by [deleted user] (new)

Okay...

Does anyone miss Catherine Hardwicke? She signed on to do a werewolf movie by Appian Way, it's called "The Girl With the Red Riding Hood."

Sounds interesting don't you think so?
