author with a lot of corrections needed in book titles

The author has written a few series but the book titles include the series name and are not linked as a series here in GR. In addition there is often a descriptive term in the book title like Arztroman which should not be there.
As I spotted t least four series to be added I posted it in the projects area.

I did a few as well, but still way more to go.

Some of the book have the wrong language set as well, I suspect most of them are in German, an awful lot shows english, maybe they were wrongly imported.

I do not get why the series are not showing on the author page as with other authors. Is it a bug?

that will take a while due to cacheing (1-2 days)
and the language issue is known - it's fixed since january by not importing any languages at all from amazon bots. but before that it was normal to import english by the amazon bots

Cleaned up quite some titles, and corrected the language.

Got the confirmation from something I already suspected for some time.
For cleaning up, I like to filter on the combine page, and use words like 'roman', 'german', or in some cases the name of a series. Helps to keep track which ones are done, especially when that word needs to be removed from the title.

When using the filter on the combine page, not all results for that word are shown. When the titles from the filter are cleaned up, and I filter again for the same word, there are new results.

This behavior was reported in the feedback group at least a couple of years ago. I have taken to using my browser's find feature on combine pages when there is not more than one screen on that page, but might be useful here anyway.

I cleared a few descriptive terms and I think the only issues left are the wrong titles when they are part of a series and sometimes there is a wrong language set.
