Liz Kujak (lizkujak) @Bookbuyer,
Does reading a bunch of books at once, 50 pages at a time help you get books done quicker?? I usually only read one book at a time, but maybe your process works quicker??

I only read one book at a time too Liz. I find it so hard to follow multiple story lines at once. And I normally only read series. One after the other until I've finished.

It can. I've been able to read more this month with this method but I keep tweaking it as well. I'm trying to find my limit of how many books I can read at once. :)

Exactly! I can binge read a series if I really like it but I usually mix in another book or two for the variety. :)

message 112: by Colleen (new)

Colleen Scidmore (colleensreadingadventures) | 968 comments I read multiple books at a time too. 2 or 3 usually. I got bored with just one, but if it's a book I love I can read it straight through! :)

I almost didn't read The Heir or The Queen when reading The Selection Series either. Because America was no longer the main character. But I ended up loving her daughters story as well. I liked America's story better. Obviously. I can't even remember the daughters name. Lol.

I liked the Queen but I'm having a really hard time with The Heir. I find Eadlyn to be really annoying, whiny, and bratty. I really dislike her and it's ruining the story for me. D:

message 128: by Felicia (new)

Felicia | 15003 comments Sorry. I totally meant The Crown. Not The Queen. Sorry. I loved America's story. But yes, her daughter's story is a bit much. But I grew to like her by the end of The Crown.

I'll have to see how I feel about her at the end of The Heir. Hopefully I can finish it. :/

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments My goal for today is to finish The Heir (The Selection, #4) by Kiera Cass (36%) and The Kiss of Deception (The Remnant Chronicles, #1) by Mary E. Pearson (22%)

I also need to start and finish The Bone Witch (The Bone Witch, #1) by Rin Chupeco The Girl with All the Gifts by M.R. Carey but I'll settle for 50% of each.
