So the h meets the H (he's a businessman), sees how well he's dressed and immediately concludes that he can't possibly be straight. I can't remember how exactly they met, maybe because of work?
The h has a friend (maybe even roommate) who is gay and, I'm pretty sure, is very hot. The friend is a cop and he just broke up with his boyfriend (maybe?).
There's a part there where the h, thinking that the H was gay and that he and her gay friend will make a lovely couple, set them up in a cafe. That's where the friend realized that the H wasn't gay and that he's interested in the h.
The main reason why the h thought the H was gay's because he wears cufflinks.
Now the tricky part is I think this happens near the end, BUT I may just be combining two books.
The end I remember is that the h got pregnant and she told the H about it while they're on a vacation with his family. This family is, in fact, not really related to him by blood. The H starts to get distant to the h because (view spoiler)[the H is afraid to have a child. It's all in head though, because his mother left him with his dad (he WAS a good man) but then his dad got brain cancer and there are times when he behaved in a bad way but it's only because of the cancer. The family who took the H in, the man the H treats a father, was his dad's friend. (hide spoiler)]
I also remember a scene where the h was so sad and her friend visits her. I think he encouraged her to talk to the H and try to fix things.
