We can.

Please quote us the ISBN of the edition you want the page count updated? Please take that ISBN from the book in your hand rather than the goodreads page. Please provide page count from physical edition not from amazon if you own the book. Amazon does not list page count correct and Worldcat quotes it at 464 which is what I am inclined to believe and in fact what I would use as a source if you don't have the book in your hand.

The ISBN of the book in my hand is 9780141986166. The correct page count for this edition is 457.

I discovered that this edition is a separate entry in the GoodReads database, instead of a new edition to the original book with ISBN 9780307341440. Is it possible to link these entries?

I've updated your edition. You can use the "switch to this edition" link on the book page so that you will have the correct edition in your shelves.

To search for your edition the best way is to use the ISBN or ASIN*.

That also works with the add book/author option.

When starting a new thread you are NOT obliged to link a book. That is just an option. Even if you DO link the correct edition we will always ask you to confirm the ASIN/ISBN. Those must always be quoted when requesting page count to be changed.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

*Please note not all book have ISBN and some book reuse them so sometimes new edition will not have the ISBN assigned to them. Then you need to manually search the "all editions" page.
