Ok book dragons!!!! here we can discuss chapters 1-6!!!! please tell us you take so far i know we are just really getting into the book but let me tell you i love this book so far so glad this is the book we choose to read!!!! what is everyone's thoughts?

what about Mare Molly Barrow??? do you like her so far? or her friend Kilorn???

I'm not quite sure how I feel about Mare. I understand that she comes from the completely different world than the Silvers and has to be the way she is to survive, but it can at points come across Whiny. I guess it just sets up the oppressiveness that she is feeling, but still. In terms of Kilorn, I don't feel know too much about him to really give accurate judgement. Everyone needs a sidekick I guess....

yes i agree but as a young poor girl i would probably act the same way so im trying not to judge her too much yet but i totally agree with you at first i was like this girl lol

I agree about Mare. I can sympathize with her, however it becomes clear pretty early on that while others are making the best of what they have, she's content to complain and steal rather than try to get work. I'm not sure about Kilorn, I need to read more I think...I haven't quite figured out his place in all of this.
