Finds a pooka, saves it, changes into an elephant, then a dog, then a man.
In a mall spiders people cant see are attatched to them, she has to spray them to get rid of them.

It's been years (think at least 15 or so) since I read it, but could it be War for the Oaks I know it has a pookha, a h who hasn't been aware of the PN until then, and various fae. But that's about all I remember

I don't know how long book has been out, but i read it last year.
